Are you supersaturated with my boasting just yet? Me neither! But I will stop here. Even though I could go on indefinitely, as could anyone else in pursuit of astrological ego fodder.

And anyone can draw up astrological profiles to match a specific image they are trying to project. If I wanted to prove I am very sensitive and compassionate to the point of self-effacement or self-destruction, I could do that very easily (Liz Greene seems to think I am nothing but emotional, which makes me wonder if her Psychological Profile is entirely based on moon sign...which in my case is Pisces.)

Yes, it is only partial analysis, but it's not misleading. I do have the gift of a clear, strong, and objective mind. I am a lover of truth. I do favor reason over chaos, and principles over personal reactions. Even in dealing with myself I'm that way. If I behave irrationally, I'll beat myself up over it.

You suggest that since there's more, and since there's a shadow side, that this part isn't telling the whole story. It is nonetheless also true about me...at least as far as Liz Greene's auto-analysis goes.

I have the actual report.

Part of what it says about my shadow implies that I need to be less stern with others, and allow them to see the depth of my emotional sensitivity and depth. I don't reject those things. I just do see it as my role in certain situations to raise the bar (GU seems to be the perfect place to challenge people to be more objective). That's why I've made so many concessions in looking at your views. I want to understand whether there's value there or not. Along the way, I want to question your process to ensure that your studies have indeed been adequate. You post your Pluto in the 3rd as evidence of your diligence, but the record of your diligence should probably be your ability defend what you're holding as true.

The detrimental part of the report also says that I sacrifice my own emotional states to follow reason. "However, your deepest dilemma in life remains the troublesome world of the emotions, and your common sense and realism may combine with your strongly emphasized rationality to make you intolerant of the importance of the inner world."..."Try to take your eyes off the ground occasionally, so that you can discover that "inner" is just as real as "outer", and "subjective" just as valuable as "objective." I value what is objectively true, and I don't usually run into trouble with people speaking objectively. That was found under the heading, "Respect for reality enriches a clear mind."

This is kind of funny. From the section about my Character & Shadow:

"You are a great believer in the healing power of objective thought, and are convinced that if only human beings could be more reasonable, more in control of their chaotic emotions and more capable of a broad and impersonal viewpoint, life would be so much better, cleaner, and brighter."

I'm just trying to heal the world through objectivity, that's all. Liz Greene has created a monster!
