Is this acceptable? I'm curious if these were federal agents or the local police. I believe the ongoing militarization of our police forces is a serious concern. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2013/08/government-knocking-doors-because-google-searches/67864/ Michele Catalano was looking for information online about pressure cookers. Her husband, in the same time frame, was Googling backpacks. Wednesday morning, six men from a joint terrorism task force showed up at their house to see if they were terrorists. Which prompts the question: How'd the government know what they were Googling? IP: Logged |

Most likely, if you Google certain combinations of words, the feds are alerted. IP: Logged |

If I Google twinkie and apocalypse, will the secret zombie task force knock on my door? IP: Logged |

I think you should try, Randall. They'll be armed, of course. Heavily. So act accordingly. IP: Logged |
