Boy is it good to have Jwhop back.

I feel like it is Christmas morning and a big present with a bow is sitting right in front of me

I don't even need a naked man to jump out. I just want someone who thinks

Catalina/katatonic, would you like to now issue a blanket apology for all the allegations you've made against Sarah Palin which proved spurious?

Ami, leftists here need to choose a storyline about the Marxist Messiah, O'Bomber and stick to their story.

Storyline (a)

Barack O'Bomber is a bungling, incompetent boob who has failed in every metric of presidential governance.

Storyline (b)

Barack O'Bomber is a brilliant tactician who is meeting or exceeding his goals and objectives of reducing America's power, influence and standing among the nations of the world.

It takes a big person who has character and integrity to apologize, Jwhop.

If a person does not have this, I don't expect anything

Lol I have already apoligized, 4 years ago when it happened.

YOU, Ami, pretend you don't owe me any apology, but we both know better.

Perhaps you would like me to quote you on the frailties of virgo merc when combust like jwhop's? Maybe he is content to be manipulated but I suspect I was in error when I gave him credit for being smart enoigh to change his rut/MO .

Enjoy your little party but don't fool yourselves that you can use your rudimentary brainwashing games on me.

Look in the mirror much, Ami?

I am an earth void. I hate research but I know some of you love it.

And yet you find yourself intelligent, a high information voter, and an "independent" thinker. You can understand why a lot of us don't see ANY of those traits in you.

You just said you need someone else to look up facts. Doesn't that make my statement the other day true? That you get your information from other people, and aren't an independent thinker?

I am as independent thinking as you can get - Ami Anne http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum26/HTML/001941-4.html

Obviously not, I say once again.

Too much trouble for you? It's too much trouble for him typically, too.

I think you're barking up the wrong tree there. He's not one to acknowledge nor apologize for being wrong.

Well, I was wrong...once acoustic and I did apologize.

You on the other hand have established a record of never being right and still you don't apologize. You're just the typical leftist extremist beating your gums about things you know nothing about. Of course, you make up for that by going to others of equal ignorance for your talking points and then, you post their bullshiiit here.

That's not true. I don't have a record of not being right (you do; a rather extensive one), nor do I have a record of being unreasonable or of not admitting it if I state something wrong. I've conceded points when I've jumped the gun.

I don't have an issue with the truth. I advocate it.

Nope. Can't say that I do. As I encouraged Faith to do, you may want to plug my astro info (Dec. 26, 1972 @ 2:34pm in Orange, CA) into astro.com and check the Psychological Horoscope.

You possess the gift of a clear, strong and objective mind, and you are a lover of truth and integrity in all your dealings. You will always favour reason over chaos, and principles over personal reactions.

Does yours start with these lines?

Interestingly, Jwhop's does start with these lines as well! I'm astonished!

His doesn't go on confirming it over and over again throughout like mine does.

I wasn't pointing out that it says good things. The full report contains both good and bad things recognizing the shadow side of things.
Not everyone's is SO focused on the rational, reasonable traits that mine shows.

I know there is good and bad but there is something wrong with your reasoning. Maybe, you have no heart. Maybe, you can't think out of the box.
I don't know what it is but I have never seen a person so "authority minded".
It is a little scary to me, not to be a jerk.
I am just saying that people who follow the company line like you do are a bit scary

I don't follow the company line. I follow science's line, especially when it's not in serious doubt.

I wish those that say that there's an issue with my reasoning would be able to reason it out. I can subvert "my heart," but it's still there (My Moon's in Virgo, so it's a perfectionist, too). My strongest signs are Sag and Libra, which is a very liberal, justice-loving combo. Libra works on balancing things, and Sag is concerned with proper treatment and equality for all. Plus I'm a Capricorn on top of that with Saturn in the first opposing Mercury and trining Uranus bringing rules and structure to thought (while Uranus keeps the door open to interesting ideas).

quote:
I don't know what it is but I have never seen a person so "authority minded".

So when you say that, you don't think that you're authority minded? I think that might be an oversight on your part. I think you've quite obviously been informed by some people.

What's more concerning, though, for me, is why is the consultation of authority so repellant? Why in the world would it be bad to consult those most knowledgeable? What is the value in consulting those that aren't in the know?

I don't see anything remotely scary in it, so you'll have to explain your train of thought there.

Well, most authoritative systems are flawed. Modern medicine is an industry based on money. It is not real healthcare. It is greed for everyone involved.

Many doctors are part of the system and don't know how injurious it is BUT if they would think for themselves, they would see.

People were talking about Diary of a medical Heretic" by Mendelson.

HE thought for himself. That is what I mean by thinking outside the box and independent thought.

That is just one example.

You seem like you follow whatever "majority" is out there.

And you seem like you follow anyone who claims to be outsidr the box. Saying so doesn't make it so, and thrre are plenty of other boxes besides the "accepted authorities" who believe it or not are also sometimes right. Corruption is everywhere and if you don't think there's greed outside the box you are still being led by the nose. At least AG considers more than one option/slant, morr than can be said of those who pretend to know it all.

Reverse psychology.is used everywhere.

Listen up acoustic. I have you covered...astrologically, in every possible way.

It's laughable that you say you value truth. You wouldn't know the truth if you stepped in it...or care.

Let's not forget you're the guy who doesn't see anything wrong with leftist morons lying through their teeth for political advantage...nor would you...or did you condemn deliberate, intentional lying.

It's also undeniable that I've warned you off this path...as have the writings of Jan Spiller which you ignore to your own detriment.

Back to the original topic. If we give up guns, we are lost. That is the only thing keeping us from the OVERT tyranny which Obama is salivating for.

We, already, have covert tyranny, allowed by the low information public by excuses for the worst president in history: excuses such as we see on here.

I can say I told you so on Egypt. I can say I told you so on everything.

If Obama gets the guns, I will say I told you so on tyranny

You can SAY any thing but as we have seen, that doesn't make it so.

the fact that Egypt is not settled after a revolution only shows that revolutions tend to be messy affairs followed by confusion.

Was it Muslims who made such a hash of the French Revolution(s) then? The Russians'?

There are plenty of bozos in this country who think a revolution would fix Washington...look at Egypt, and revolutions through history before you go there. You can pretty much guarantee years of chaos with no guarantee that the end result will be better than what the revolt was about.
