You take Obama way too seriously for some reason. The reason seems to be the color of his skin.

I assume you have your experiences with this and they are deep but you need to discern those of us who don't care about his color or the color of anyone.

Don't lump us in with the people who judge by skin color because we don't.

I don't say your hate for obama is based in his skin colour, but it is used to stir up a lot.of people who DO fear and loathe this very likely more than half white man because he LOOKS black.

Colour is a genetic throw of the dice. We all have some racist misunderstandings but please don't try, as jwhop did, to say joke posters showing Obama with bones thru his nose don't play on people's racism.

Your hate is largely fueled by the brainwashing and abusive isolation of a steady diet of vitriol ftom the limbaugh, hannity, levin crowd.

You have got it - and me - backwards. I am one of the few people here who has seen healthcare-for-all on a longterm personal basis but you would rather listen to jwhop's paranoid tabloid anecdotes and telling people to stick it up their arse. Such deep thinking.

Congress has had three years to come up with improvements and amendments to the ACA but their chosen route has been to shut.the govt down, pass over 40 bills repealing the law with no expectation of getting it approved, in short twiddling their thumbs. Michelle Bachmsnn is thrilled that the tea party is destroying the republican party and has shut.it down...even though it has NO effect on the forward motion of the ACA.

However, we can't really deal with the tip of the iceberg which is Obama, Israel and most other political subjects when the core root is so very different.

When I was a kid my liberal dad and my best friend's conservative dad were great friends themselves. They talked politics a lot. Not once did either one feel the need to insult, mock or hate on the other.

My dad was from a poor but selfsufficient immigrant jewish family who settled in brooklyn in the early 20th c and made every one of a considerable pile of dimes he received. His mother didn't even speak english when she arrived.

My friend's dad was a southern doctor who inherited a great deal of money and became one of the top docs in his field.

They enjoyed and valued their "arguments" immensely. And even found common ground.
