Comments found on the O'BomberCare.gov site!Nate Stafford Got a letter saying my current insurance coverage can no longer be offered, but I can sign up for one of the new plans for a 120% increase in premium just to keep the same level of coverage. When is someone going to be honest about the cost increases ...See More Nick Worsley You can't even build a website that works and you expect us to trust you with our health care? What a joke!!! The affordable care act needs a lot more work before its "affordable". Do it right or don't do it at all. Janet King Beckett Again, the Affordable Health Care Act is not for everyone. I found that out when I discovered the BRoNZE plan would cost us $6K each in my family. And that's the bottom of the barrel plan. Good luck y'all!!! We are all screwed because of this stupid government program. Another tax on the middle class!!
Yvonne Neighbor This is a disgrace rates are unaffordable and deductibles are even worse! Thanks Obama! Katalina Parra Those against the Affordable Care Act are not against affordable health care. Joshua Strickland The plans I saw under $100 also had $11,000 deductibles. #worthless Brett Passmore you should be rather embarrassed that your $600mm site will not handle a million users, while facebook, twitter, etc can all crush your site with performance and features fro a fraction of the money. And if you are eligible for healthcare coverage with your employer you are not eligible for a reduced premium even if you employer coverage costs are high. G.g. Janice Winter Why aren't we able to shop the plans without having to enter sensitive identifying information? Plans could be shopped based on age, state/county you live in which is all the information the health insurance premium is based on. Carole Pratt Ri DeCarlo - I have had my own private policy that I will not be able to afford to keep once the rates triple per the letter I received from Humana. I'm not eligible for "affordable" coverage on the exchange, don't qualify for subsidy. I am living, documented proof this is system will not work for me. No propaganda here. I like your sense of humor too jwhop but I find this is more frightening than funny. Poetic justice or Karma for the admin? Shoving this down the throats of we the people is backfiring like a holey muffler. Obama & Dems have their spot in the WH so they lose nothing. The good solid citizens being gouged, canceled and tormented by the poor website is appalling. When the admin commits an unconstitutional act, the people pay. Yes, readers, I know the SC upheld it. Wondering what , in hindsight, their vote would be now..------------------ Christian, Jew, Muslim, Shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the Mystery, unique and not to be judged. A million users? When they tested it before the roll out, it failed with only 200 users. Saw this tidbit on CBS news last night. They knew it was broken. Epic fail. IP: Logged |

HealthCare.gov summed up in a cartoon November 03 2013 Doug Brady Keep in mind, boys and girls, The New Yorker is basically an extension of the Hopenchange White House. New_Yorker_ObamaCare_Cover The five and a quarter inch floppy disk being brandished by the anonymous ObamaCare henchman is a nice touch. So is Obama’s mammoth phone. This is actually rather apt: The theory that underlies ObamaCare — socialism — and the technology used to implement it belong in the previous century. What could possibly go wrong? http://conservatives4palin.com/2013/11/healthcare-gov-summed-up-in-a-cartoon.html IP: Logged |

What went wrong was using some Conservative ideas to enact reform without properly thinking it through.IP: Logged |

AG, once again, I ask you, which ideas are you talking about? The hammer and screwdriver are classic! Wonder if they have hidden meanings also? Trying to force something to fit with a hammer and screwing us all. IP: Logged |

You asked me previously? (and you don't know already?)Individual mandate originated with Conservatives. You can find video of Newt Gingrich touting it as a necessary part of any action to fix healthcare. That's the big one. If Democrats had gone with a single-payer system you'd have free healthcare along with probably higher taxes. I can't say whether the tax hike would match what insurance companies want currently under Obamacare. I can say that they might not be at that table to help make that decision, though, whereas the way Obamacare is set up, they pretty much get to dictate their terms for the price of the coverage. You shouldn't have had to ask me, though. I'm pretty sure that you were aware of Romney's healthcare reform in Massachusetts. IP: Logged |

The individual mandate isn't causing these problems with people losing their insurance. But it is tyranny.IP: Logged |

The New Yorker has always featured political satire, no matter who was in the White House. Nothing surprosing about that nor about Palin's ignorance of that fact...she is too busy altering the truth to fit her and Fox's agendaIP: Logged |

I think the voters shall decide what tyranny is. I would not want to be a Democrat whose seat is up in 2014. IP: Logged |

I would not want to be running as a Republican that did nothing practical to constructively change ACA. Either party can run on improving it at this point.IP: Logged |

Honestly, the whole deal is if we have honest elections. This last time around, the states with no pic ID all went for NOBama. I saw story upon story of fraud. I saw myself that you could vote with a "community care". You know this spells fraud No honest elections is tyranny already ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Yet you consistently ignore that the deceptions are on both sides and have been for decades. Which stinks but levels the field as well...only one election has been thrown by the SC that I know of.IP: Logged |

The Republicans didn't vote for it, and they also tried to block it. When people see the damage it leaves in its wake, it will not bode well for Democrats. IP: Logged |
