If we could set the Earth at a temperature, what would we set it at? I'm sure there are a lot of people in MN who wish they were in the tropics than the other way around! The sheer hubris of thinking we can control the Earth's temperature would be laughable if not so pathetic. Temps were much higher during the reign of the dinosaurs, and life thrived even moreso than today, with millions more diversity in species than we have today...and no, the Earth didn't cook.IP: Logged |

Look at the weather in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.82F/28C during the day and a low of 70F/21C during the evening. Relative humidity of between 65% and 70%. Dew Point 65%. Median cloud cover 35%. Average wind speed 10 mph. Sunny 6-1/2 days a week. You couldn't possibly get more perfect. My high temperature today is 14F/-10C and my low temperature is 10F/-12C. This is without the wind chill factor. I could use some global warming just about right now. IP: Logged |
