Or get extra kickback. I had correspondence with the AGENCY last year. Paid one tax bill and requested a redo on another. For awhile there I was getting letters, demands, delay notices and apologies from five different offices who knew not what the others were doing!

In the end a threat of "action and penalties" turned into a rebate. The check I was told might come in 6 weeks arrived the next day.

I have come to the point where I find their contradictions amusing. Budget cuts to weaken the functionality of depts attached to Obamacare including the IRs will only cause more confusion.

In fact it is congressional undermining that almost guarantees these types of ballsups. To prove a point the taxpayer is blithely thrown on the skewer.

"You are not my schoolmaster Madeira"

"True, I'm not your schoolmaster. But then, I don't teach any "remedial" courses."

"I never said or implied what you are suggesting, jwhop"

Right! Check!

Do me a favour and get your reading glasses updated. No one has said a 40 hour workweek would hurt the middle classes. Well, except those who think "right to work without parameters & minimum wages" is good for someone besides CEOs and their bonuses.

They said the bill would encourage CUTTING 40hr schedules down to avoid responsibility and that suddenly Repubs are apparently ok with reupping the deficit. Duhduh-different thing. And even conservative pundits see this..get it yet?

Wrong, YOU posted that republican/conservatives SAID a 40 hour workweek would hurt the middle class.

"The conservatives do not support Obamacare, but agree the 40-hour shift could hurt workers.

I've asked you several times to NAME those republican/conservatives who said that.

So far, you've ducked, bobbed, weaved and evaded posting their names. Is that because you can't? Is that because you can't find a single instance where a republican/conservative said that?

I was quoting the OP and the "shift" was the shift in the Bill. From 30hr employees to 40hr ones.

Who do you know who has ever pulled a 40-hr shift (workday) Maybe some Emergency docs and firemen...a 40 hr work WEEK is not called a SHIFT.

Anything else you need explained? Were there too many words in the article for you or what?

No one believed anyone was talking about a 40 hour work shift.

Reasonable, rational, logical people knew it was a 40 hour work week which was being talked about.

AND, still no identification of who those mythical conservatives are who said a 40 hour work week would harm workers!

Why should I read the article...again. That article wasn't written by one of the so called "conservatives" who reportedly said...a 40 hour work week would harm workers.

You can't find a single conservative who said that...or ever would say that. No rational person would say that full time employment harms workers. On the other hand, in the O'Bomber economy, lots of workers are being harmed by the stupidity of the Marxist Messiah drawing up rules which declare 30 hour work weeks are full time employment. It's Bullshiiiiite of course. The Marxist Messiah has given lots of workers a 25% cut in work hours...with a corresponding cut in take home pay. Nice going Marxist Messiah, you little loony tunes dope.

No one said that including me. If you want to argue about something that has only been said by yourself, go for it. Live it up!

You posted this and so, you own it. Or, perhaps this is a perfect example of why you should actually read your posts before you click on "Submit Reply"!

I rather think Randall owns it. Go pick on him, Mr T! He posted it. It still says the shift in the bill from 30 to 40 hours. .. nothing was said about a 40 hr work week hurting anyone
