The liberal media machine has spent decades bulldozing anyone who tells you global warming is a sham.

They even came up with a clever little title — “deniers.”

Every time a heat wave hits, every time a picture of a lone polar bear gets taken . . . the left pounds the table for environmental reform, more policy, more money to combat climate change. But how much has the world really warmed?

Their message is simple: Get on the man-made global warming bandwagon . . . or you’re just ignorant.

But how much has the world really warmed?

It’s an important question, considering the U.S. government spends $22 billion a year to fight the global warming crisis (twice as much as it spends protecting our border).

To put that in perspective, that is $41,856 every minute going to global warming initiatives.

But that's just the tip of a gargantuan iceberg.

According to Forbes columnist Larry Bell, the ripple effect of global warming initiatives actually costs Americans $1.75 trillion . . . every year.

That's three times larger than the entire U.S. federal budget deficit.

So, has anyone stopped to ask . . . how much has the globe actually warmed?

Well, we asked, and what we found was striking.

According to NASA’s own data via Remote Sensing Systems(RSS), the world has warmed a mere .36 degrees Fahrenheit over the last 35 years (they started measuring the data in 1979).

Hardly anything to panic about; however, that does mean the world is warmer, right?

The problem with that argument is that we experienced the bulk of that warming between 1979 and 1998 . . . since then, we’ve actually had temperatures DROPPING!

As can be seen in this chart, we haven’t seen any global warming for 17 years.

Weakening the global warming argument is data showing that the North Polar ice cap is increasing in size. Recent satellite images from NASA actually reflect an increase of 43% to 63%.

This is quite the opposite of what the global warming faction warned us.

In 2007, while accepting his Nobel Prize for his global warming initiative, Al Gore made this striking prediction, “The North Polar ice cap is falling off a cliff. It could be completely gone in summer in as little as seven years. Seven years from now.”

Al Gore could not have been more wrong.

However, despite this clear evidence that the temperatures are not increasing, the global warming hysteria only seems to be increasing.

For example: President Obama himself tweeted on May 16, 2014: “97% of scientists agree: climate change is real, man-made and dangerous.” John Kerry, Al Gore, and a host of others have championed this statistic.

Since then, it has become clear that this statistic was inaccurate.

The Wall Street Journal went as far as to say, “The assertion that 97% of scientists believe that climate change is a man-made, urgent problem is a fiction.” Forbes headlined “Global Warming Alarmists Caught Doctoring ’97% Consensus’ Claims.”

Come to find out, the study President Obama was citing was botched from the start.

A host of other problems for the global warming crowd are emerging, such as . . .

Leaked emails from global warming scientists state that the Earth is not warming, such as this one from Kevin Trenberth that states, “The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty we can’t.”
Claude Allegre, the founding father of the man-made global warming ethos, recently renounced his position that man has caused warming.
Proof is emerging that Al Gore and even President Obama have financially benefited from fueling the global warming hysteria

It is becoming harder and harder for the global warming community to ignore some of the scientific data that show the Earth is not getting warmer . . . instead, the world is getting cooler.

Which makes one wonder — why are we still spending $22 billion a year on global warming initiatives, and where is the money going?

And you are in a position to decide which evidence is fabricated? You talk about increasing ice at the North Pole in winter as if it were Evidence that there is no warming...others say otherwise. Why would I believe you? Why would the loser of this bet concede if the evidence were bogus as you claim?

Evidence which was gathered from the sources requested by the skeptic, so claiming the climate researcher skewed things is itself a bogus rebuttal

It's the sources that have manipulated the data. They have admitted to such in private e-mails to one another.

Yeah, the princes of the Man Made Global Warming Religion were caught emailing each other bemoaning the "decline" in temperatures. Not at all what their flawed computer models predicted was going to happen.

The skeptic picked the source. The fact that some emails were dug up doesn't mean ALL researchers are jiving. I think there is a wide range of theories on the subject and as yet none are proven; that the models were imperfect doesn't disqualify the entire premise and whether we caused the changes or not doesn't mean we can't make a difference. For all we know the cobsiderable replacement of fossil fuels with renewables is why the Surface Temperature hasn't climbed as much as the worst predictions. However in 5 years, according to the source the skeptic chose, temps have gone up by half the prediction for ten years.

Even if it doesn't affect warming at all drastic reduction of pollution and the destruction it causes is a good thing imo. The fact that some People are taking advantage of the situation to make money, well that's capitalism isn't it?

I think the focus on co2 is overdone. But if we continue to kill off our water, earth, vegetation and air climate change WILL be affected by us and part of our destruction. I prefer not to extinguish everything but cockroaches and bacteriae myself...

But vegetation and crop growth is way up, as would be expected with high CO2 levels. Nothing to be alarmed about; instead, we should be rejoicing.

I know how disgusting it is to leftists that increased CO2 promotes higher crop production to feed a hungry world.

Do you leftists...who wheeze, whine, screech, howl and shriek about higher CO2 concentrations which increase food crop production, have any idea how much the rest of us would love to snatch you out of your little comfy lives and transport you to areas of the world where people live on the edge of starvation? Any idea at all leftist loons? You deserve to experience what your most cherished dreams mean to those on the ragged edge of starvation experience....and I'd personally love to send you there.

Oh dear also from Nasa.

And yes, Randall, co2 is good for vegetation but we are clearing and polluting more than even extra growth can keep up with. Seen what Canada looks like lately? Deforestation has surpassed the Brazil rainforest there.

Actually, foliage is up significantly and still increasing.

I guess the Chicken Littles would prefer this be a dead planet instead of a lush one, so they can push their financial and control agenda.

yup, yup nodding head.

50 below zero wind chills, frozen water pipes, blown water valves and an inch of icey water covering the floor... first time in over a hundred years but by golly,
it`s warming up

Well apparently the Pacific is getting warmer. The sardine population is suffering from it which might seem insignificant unless you understand how many species and processes that affects..

I believe the consensus is down to about 87% in a recent poll. Among non climate scientists.

may be what is called global warming refers to a rise in temperature at the scale of the planet and over a period of time of severl centuries, basically before and after the industrial revolution and the man made impact on climate.

but shall we consoder it, on a human scale, as a de regulation of climate? to be honest in France there has been strange events such as storms or floods that rarely happened in the past. unlike in the US where you regularly have hurricanes, tornados for exemple, it is very very rare here, we are quite priviledged in regards to weather conditions normally, probably due to our small size (smaller than texas) but in the last years and décades, we had some severe floods and one or two strong storms, very unusual.

so I'd say global warming at the scale of the planet (and centuries) while climate deregulation at the scale of a human's life

There is plenteous evidence that the sun drives temperatures on earth and the puny contributions of man to the CO2 atmospheric concentrations is not a factor effecting temperatures. With total atmospheric concentrations of CO2 of 0.039%, Man Made Global Warming Religionists are increasingly irrational and illogical. All anyone needs to know to refute these religionist morons is that CO2 concentrations are going up...but temperatures are flat-lining or declining. There goes the ballgame. The entire premise of these moronic religionists is destroyed by the very data their own organizations produce.

Let me say this with clarity!

It's the Sun stupid!
It's always been the Sun stupid!

Bad news for warmists: Sun has entered 'weakest solar cycle in a century'
Thomas Lifson

The conceit that human production of carbon dioxide is capable of driving the earth’s climate is running smack into the sun. CO2 accounts for a mere 0.039% of the atmosphere, while the sun accounts for 99.86% of all of the mass in our entire solar system. And Ol’ Sol is not taking the insult lightly. Vencore Weather reports:

For the past 5 days, solar activity has been very low and one measure of solar activity – its X-ray output – has basically flatlined in recent days (plot below courtesy NOAA/Space Weather Prediction Center). Not since cycle 14 peaked in February 1906 has there been a solar cycle with fewer sunspots.

We are currently more than six years into Solar Cycle 24 and today the sun is virtually spotless despite the fact that we are still in what is considered to be its solar maximum phase. Solar cycle 24 began after an unusually deep solar minimum that lasted from 2007 to 2009 which included more spotless days on the sun compared to any minimum in almost a century.

There are several possible consequences to the solar quiet. The first is counterintuitive:

By all Earth-based measures of geomagnetic and geoeffective solar activity, this cycle has been extremely quiet. However, while a weak solar cycle does suggest strong solar storms will occur less often than during stronger and more active cycles, it does not rule them out entirely. In fact, the famous Carrington Event of 1859 occurred during a weak solar cycle (#10) [http://thesiweather.com/2014/09/02/300-pm-the-carrington-event-of-1859-a-solar-superstorm-that-took-places-155-years-ago/].

In addition, there is some evidence that most large events such as strong solar flares and significant geomagnetic storms tend to occur in the declining phase of the solar cycle. In other words, there is still a chance for significant solar activity in the months and years ahead.

Our dependence on electronic devices is such that extreme solar events could have serious consequences. However, it is the likely impact on atmospheric temperatures that threatens the “consensus” on global warming:

…if history is a guide, it is safe to say that weak solar activity for a prolonged period of time can have a negative impact on global temperatures in the troposphere which is the bottom-most layer of Earth’s atmosphere - and where we all live. There have been two notable historical periods with decades-long episodes of low solar activity. The first period is known as the “Maunder Minimum”, named after the solar astronomer Edward Maunder, and it lasted from around 1645 to 1715. The second one is referred to as the “Dalton Minimum”, named for the English meteorologist John Dalton, and it lasted from about 1790 to 1830. Both of these historical periods coincided with below-normal global temperatures in an era now referred to by many as the “Little Ice Age”. In addition, research studies in just the past couple of decades have found a complicated relationship between solar activity, cosmic rays, and clouds on Earth. This research suggests that in times of low solar activity where solar winds are typically weak; more cosmic rays reach the Earth’s atmosphere which, in turn, has been found to lead to an increase in certain types of clouds that can act to cool the Earth.

It is common sense to believe that the sun has more influence on global temperatures than a trace gas. With a 17 year “pause” in the predicted outcomes of an increase in atmospheric CO2, warmists face more and more awkward questions. If temperatures actually decline as a result of an expected decrease in solar activity, at some point the game will be up, and the billions of dollars a year squandered on climate modeling that doesn’t predict what happens will have to dry up.
