No one takes the Washington Post seriously anymore. They are barely more than a tabloid.

"Yeah, Trump is for the people--not the elitists' aristocracy. And that means that the fringe on both sides of the fence will be against him. Globalism ends with Trump. America first!"

That's it exactly Randall. Trump is taking fire from all sides, from the Globalists in the republican party and their propaganda arm in the press...like the Wall Street Journal and Globalist democrats...like Hillary The Corrupt...and the Globalist propaganda arm of the democrat party, most of the MSM.

Trump is going to bring their crooked little house down around their ears.

It doesn't matter who he stole the idea from, or who used it first. Three wrongs does not make it right.

His slogan + his son's recent gas chamber joke does not bode well for this country. Referencing capital punishment my arse...we know what he was referring to.

Your unwillingness to see what's right in front of your face doesn't mean that it magically disappears.

Trump, Jr. referenced the electric chair last week and called it a gas chamber this week. It's a reference to capital punishment. And no three wrongs don't make a right, but Make America Great Again has nothing whatsoever to do with Hitler. Bill claimed it is racist, but Bill said it frequently himself! And Hillary recently called Trump a racist for the birther controversy, when Hillary started it in 2008! To say Hillary is two-faced would be an understatement.

I wasn't talking about that slogan. "America First" was the phrase with ties to Nazi sympathizers in the 1930s. The article I posted may have addressed his other slogans, but that's the particular phrase that I'm referring to.

It brings up an interesting point, though. What's your take on Trump taking that slogan from Bill? If you don't like Bill, how do you feel about Trump snagging a slogan from him? Or Melania taking lines for her RNC speech from Michelle Obama's speech? (I'm aware that Melania didn't write it herself but she did point out the lines as a source of inspiration.)

Indeed, it does bode well for this country to make it great again. Obama is the only president in history to never reach a 3% GDP. Trump will bring us from this dismal 1% to 4%. And unlike Hillary's condescension toward millions of Americans, Trump will work for all Anericans, including Democrats.

When considering our brain dead Progressive brothers and sisters, we find there's no there, there.

These idiots cheer BJ Clinton when he says "Make America Great Again"...and, Kommander Korruption said it numerous times when he was running for president.

When Trump says, "Make America Great Again", the very same BJ Clinton, Kommander Korruption, says it's a racist comment every Southerner understands...and Clinton's moronic supporters boo Trump.

These moronic Progressive sycophants have all the intellectual capacity of retarded sand fleas.

This forum is littered with their irrational, illogical, unreasonable nonsense going back to the day this forum was instituted here.

"Don't try to argue facts or policies with Conservatives, (because you will lose in that venue), instead, call them racists."

And then, Progressives wonder why rational, logical, reasonable people hold them in such low regard.

We could say the same thing about certain liberals who refuse to believe just how corrupt the Clinton's are. It's embarrassing at this point.

"Comparing a two word slogan to Nazi sympathizers...really? "America First", "Make America Great Again", slogans like these have been used repetitively throughout history. What is this statement trying to imply? That Trump is a Nazi sympathizer? Well then Reagan and Bill Clinton would be too since they too have used the same slogan used 80 something years ago."

Exactly etherealsaturn!

In light of the birther press conference held by Trump today, I wanted to share my favorite Trump lawsuit.

The 5 million dollar frivilous lawsuit that Trump filed against comedian Bill Maher. Maher made a joke challenging Trump to produce his birth certificate in order to prove that he was not the son of an orangutan. He said he would donate 5 million to charity, the same amount that Trump claimed he would pay if Obama provided his Harvard transcripts and his passport record, if Trump showed his birth certificate. Trump promptly provided the evidence that he was not half orangutan, and demanded the 5 million dollar payment.

And this is a man that wants to change libel laws if he becomes president, making it easier to sue anyone that says anything bad about a person. In that case he better be prepared to be sued by a lot more people, because he insults a new person everyday.

While I realize that Maher was joking - I even sometimes find his commentary amusing, let's look at this.

To start, Trump withdrew this lawsuit. http://www.dailymail.co. uk/news/article-2303038/Donald-Trump-WITHDRAWS-5-million-dollar-birther-lawsuit-Bill-Maher-rep-saying-revised-filed-again.html

Back in 2012, Trump offered Obama a $5 million charity payout if he released his university transcripts and passport records.

Which he never did, and in my opinion, I don't know if that should be an obligation for a president, it hasn't been before. However I'd like to point out that it's strange many people from his graduating class at Columbia didn't know Obama at all, but that's an entirely different chat.

Then Bill Maher made this joke. He said he would pay $5 million to charities of Trump's choice if Trump could prove he wasn’t the offspring of an orangutan.

Trump decided to take on Maher's 'dare' and send him his birth certificate in turn to donate the $5 million dollars to charity. When he didn't follow through with the money, he sued him.

quote:
Trump said he 'felt a major obligation' to bring suit 'on behalf of the charities listed, namely Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society, Hurricane Sandy Victims, March of Dimes, and the Police Athletic League.'

Trump is in business. He gets sued all of the time, this was just another day for him. He tried to turn this ridiculous joke into a good thing.

Conservatives have a great sense of humor. Trump is really funny. But liberals don't get the punchline.

I can understand how difficult it must be when you're confronted with the truth regarding the Republican embarrassment called Donald Trump.

Is that why you ignore all the racist comments of Bill and Hillary? Because it embarrasses you? Don't feel bad about it. It should. It's called deflection.

Maybe because it's in another language...one devoid of all sarcasm, wit and good natured humor, and instead filled with racist remarks and jabs at the Holocaust.

Liberals would get the punchline, if their "jokes" didn't poke fun at millions of oppressed people.

And you do it better than anybody here. You've even got jwhop beat when it comes to deflecting the truth. Somebody give this man an award, already.

Here's the issue. You read into things not said by Trump. And then you ignore things clearly and straightforwardly said by the Clintons. Cognitive dissonance much?

Awww, look at that, guys! He did it again.

You've really got deflecting the truth down to a science.

Don't mind me. I'm just gonna grab some popcorn and continue watching the Republican Turn About Show.

FYI - The Holocaust joke was made by Trump's son, who would most certainly play a part in Trump's presidency if he were to get in. It's public knowledge at this point that his family will likely play a large part in the White House. Therefore, his jokes are most certainly not off limits to criticism and do play a part in Trump's image as a candidate for presidency.

If you have a problem with your candidate or his very public family being criticized for their many failures and faults, then vote for a less embarrassing Republican next time. Don't attack me for your mistakes.

It was an execution comment. The gas chamber has been used in this country for executions. Just like the electric chair comment used the week before. But you already know that. You really are stubborn.

I'm sensing a pattern on this forum.

- The Republicans jump on any Democrat who disagrees with them or presents evidence that they're wrong.
- The Republicans continue to personally attack Democrats with the expectation that they will just stand there and take it without defending him/herself.
- When the Dem finally gets defensive after many personal attacks and launches a personal attack in response, the Republicans get all butt hurt and start claiming that they're actually nice, that they really care about people, and that they actually know people who are liberals and they like them.
- There's a decent, respectful conversation without any personal attacks or insults for maybe 1 day after that.
- As soon as they can, they repeat the cycle. They just change their insults. Expect that if you were called ignorant before, you'll be called brain dead or mentally unstable this time.

Your tricks are getting old.
