I am basically totally ignorant about politics these days. 'Watched a few minutes of the Clinton/Trump debate on YouTube and couldn't believe it when Hillary was treating Russia as a threat.

Great points, Novabronte. I don't even know what some of them are referring to, though. I stopped paying attention a few years ago when I came to believe just about everything was a lie, and we'll never be told the truth. "....in the politics game, if there is no enemy the threat is that the people will start focusing on what government actually does"  "... so who is more of a threat to whom" I suppose America is the greatest threat to everyone including itself. But I wonder if there's any possibility of nuclear missiles hitting us. IP: Logged |

From the video link, all that I see is that RU is preparing in case US strikes...again Syria is the bone of contention...
Anyway, I don't think RU will strike -motive?, and I don't think US will dare - no good enough excuse.
I agree with you though, I don't believe anything I see in media, its all Strategic Perception Management.
Lets not forget that there is still many documents that haven't been published on wiki...we dont know what in them but someone does.

In my only slightly better informed opinion, or perhaps my delusion, the reason the DHS came out with the story about Russian hacking is the same reason Trump's video was released Friday.The Hillary campaign knew the Wiki leaks thing was coming and they were prepared. Today, they are claiming the leaked emails were from a plot by Russia to help Trump win and Hillary didn't actually say the things contained in them. Not that Russia isn't increasing in power or threat... Russia is doing what Russia has historically always done. They sense the US is weak, and they play geopolitics well. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your replies. I just can't believe Hillary thinks that flirting with war with Russia is a way to impress Americans...  Sounds like she wants to revive the Cold War, just because Russia hacked into the DNC? Carrying it to the furthest extreme, ignoring the fact that most threats are nothing more than idle threats... Could we really all die in a nuclear meltdown because someone snooped into her email life again? And her Scorpio Mercury is like...I told you to mind your own business....  IP: Logged |

That's right. There's no evidence Russia..Putin, hacked the DNC.There's especially no proof Putin wants Trump to win the election. It's Hillary The Corrupt who's at the very top of Putin's "Most favorite American politician List". It was Hillary The Corrupt who played her role at the State Dept which smoothed the way for a consortium controlled by Putin to gain control over 20% of American Uranium production. Hillary sold America out cheap. All it cost Putin was a $750,000 speaking fee for Bill and a donation of tens of millions to Bill and Hill's alleged Charity...The Clinton Foundation. IP: Logged |

Putin and Trump understand one another very well. Trump is focused on Domestic Change to make America great again, he will not waste his energy on Geo-Politics. This gives Putin a free hand in controlling Asia and Asia-Pacific.
Thus, it is easy to see that Putin is rooting for Trump. Just switch on Russia TV for a while and see how they tear Hillary apart.An older article but very much valid:
