Why Randall, Ms Conway calling pure lies
" alternate facts". Gonna be a hoot of a alternating 4 years ahead

quote:
You did not answer the question of why the president asked the White House press secretary to come out in front of the podium for the first time and utter a falsehood,” Todd said to Conway on Sunday. “Why did he do that? It undermines the credibility of the entire White House press office on day one.”

“No, it doesn’t,” Conway replied. “Don’t be so overly dramatic about it, Chuck.”

Todd laughed at Conway’s assertion that Spicer’s false claims were “alternative facts.”

“Wait a minute, alternative facts?” Todd said. “Alternative facts are not facts, they’re falsehoods.”

Conway tried to pivot to bigger issues that concern Americans by rattling off partisan talking points.

Good punt KAC

Sort of like Obama's press secretary insisting they didn't pay Iran a ransom? Wait, one is quite serious, and the other hyperbole.

Actually, in a way, yes. Perception matters in court. The truth is, reporters deceptively photographed where new grass has been covered in plastic, which was intent to mislead, but if you add the internet to the 31 million Nielsen, you easily get 41 million or more viewers where Reagan just didn't have that technology available.

What's funny is they made a big fuss about ratings and photos, why can't Trump take a step back ? Times and times again he proved that he's not able to.

Yes, I and many people watched the inauguration online, mostly because I want to hear what new embarrassed words spilled from his mouth. And partly because I want to watch the family clown show. Must admit it didn't disappoint.

Because Trump is a winner. Trump likes to win. It's as simple as that. What's wrong with winning? This country has been coming up short for so long that we don't even know what it's like to win. But with Trump, America will win again!

To win what? Who has the most watched inauguration? Isn't that too petty for the president of US?
In trying to argue about that he sets himself up for ridiculousness. And now he has worse, now he sounds like a dictator or at best, an idiot.

No, Obama pulling us OUT of Iraq is what allowed ISIS to establish their caliphate, grow, and to spread to over 30 nations.

Trump didn't lie. His inauguration was the most watched in history.

No, it's not about nations as competitors. It's about putting America first and helping other nations. Trade agreements should be win/win for all parties. It's been everyone else winning and us getting the short end of the stick.

It's not petty, because the issue is the lying media. When they lie, Trump intends on calling them out on it. For instance, when they claimed that Trump removed the bust of MLK from the white house.

American presidents can't be dictators. Although, Obama thought he was a king. That's why we have a separation of powers. He's far from an idiot, but nothing he says or does is going to satisfy his haters, so he will just do as he promised and make America great again.

Nearly 31 million viewers watched live U.S. television coverage of Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration, far fewer than tuned in to Barack Obama’s first swearing-in, but otherwise the biggest such audience since Ronald Reagan entered office, ratings firm Nielsen reported on Saturday.

The tally for Trump – 30.6 million viewers on 12 broadcast and cable networks that aired live coverage from about 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST – surpassed the TV audiences measured for his two most recent Republican predecessors – both inaugurations of George W. Bush and the one of his father, George H.W. Bush.

Trump was only beat by Obama’s and Reagan’s first inaugurals:

Only Reagan drew a bigger U.S. TV inauguration audience, with nearly 42 million viewers tuning in to see the California Republican sworn in for his first term in 1981. Just 25 million watched Reagan take his second oath of office four years later.

Trump’s total was greater than both swearing-ins of Democrat Bill Clinton – 29.7 million and 21.6 million – and the second inauguration of Obama, who drew an average audience of over 20.5 million in 2013, Nielsen said.

You can look at the 10 am to 6 pm stats or just at the swearing in itself. Trump's swearing in clobbered Obama. Only Reagan did better, but Reagan had no online streaming.

Obama was the king of alternative facts. He said unemployment was the lowest in decades. In truth, unemployment is actually the highest in decades! If you include the Labor Participation Rate, you find that Obama didn't count the millions of people who gave up and stopped looking for a job! Another one is where the stacks of money in cash paid to Iran in an unmarked plane (like a drug deal) where hostages were released at the same time was "not a ransom payment." From Benghazi to Fast and Furious to Obamacare, Obama lied through his teeth about just about everything. And the left is concerned about some empty seats? Glass houses anyone?

The past matters. Where was your outrage then? All of the Obama lies didn't matter? I look toward the future...when America will be great again.

i didn't join GU at that time and you know that

okay, the past matters:

1) learn about Nazism most basic history, my friend

+

2) Imelda Marcos had 2000 (!!!!) shoes while people were almost dying of hunger.

I request that we talk about Hitler, Emperor Nero, Thatcher, King George the II, Imelda Marcos, Emperor Wilhelm, etc. in threads about the current president!

Trump & Company are embarassing his own his supporters and America.

In the meantime, maybe some logic is seeping into the brains and ideologies of his voters.

I'm not embarrassed. Trump is doing everything he promised he would. Starting on the wall soon. What's embarrassing is the way the left can't accept that they lost.

Here's an alternate fact for you...from MSNBC.

You just have to laugh at the stupidity of the Crash Dummy intellects of the leftist press...unless, you're a leftist; and then, you're supposed to be under the control of the leftist press. They'll tell you what to think! That's their "job"!

"Brzezinski: Our Job Is to Control Exactly What People Think
He is trying to undermine the media
Feb 22, 2017

Controlling "exactly what people think" is the job of the media, MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski boldly declared Wednesday morning.

While discussing President Trump's entreaties to the American people to remain skeptical of the press, Bzezinski worried that if the economy turns south, Americans may end up trusting him over the media. **Don't look now, but Americans already do trust Trump more than the lunatic press**

"And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think," Brzezinski said. "And that, that is our job."
