Nice job Trump and Ryan on your healthcare bill.

You guys are a joke.

This pathetic attempt at governing is making me laugh.

Its amusing to watch the strength of the US democracy crush these petty plutocrats.

Liberty and justice and equality will prevail.

Good always wins over evil.

Suck it Trump and Ryan.

Two big fat losers with empty heads.

What a waste of education dollars.

Imagine, an American who doesn't know the United States is a Republic, not a democracy.

Sad, pathetic even.

I guess the education dollars were spent on a school that taught critical thinking over memorizing, which is technically the kind of education that creates leaders.

Meanwhile deliberate ignorance is being paraded in Congress... Buffoonery at its finest. Of course by another rationale used in the past, no Justice need be confirmed during an election campaign.. and Dumpy is campaigning for 2020 already

Please refer to the "Biden rule".

The SC appointee was a large factor why Trump won the presidency. The court should remain balanced since these are lifetime positions, and Gorsuch is a fair replacement for Scalia that maintains that balance. He is exceptionally qualified.

This filibuster is unfounded, especially considering he had universal approval for his current position, including from quite a few notable big-name Democrats. Now, if a more liberal leaning justice retires and a conservative leaning judge is pushed forward instead of a suitable replacement, then I will have issue with that. But for Scalia? Gorsuch is the better choice.

The Democrats chose the wrong battle to fight here. They need to focus on things that matter far more to their constituents.

The Dems' strategy is to obstruct everything. This will cause the rules to be changed, and that is going to hurt the Dems with the next SCOTUS pick.
