Like free energy: http://www.collective-evolution.com/2014/02/02/ world-renowned-physicist-explains-the-reality-of-free-energy-how-its-accessible/ "Free power" "environmentally neutral living" http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthship http://youtu.be/N2so9hyNWxc Any thing that doesn't support the traditional model of energy companies "owning" power and fuels is seen as Socialist by those whose noses are apparently too big to see past.. and whose vision appears to be only able to see one of two possibilities in life. There are many alternatives to the drug based medical paradigm, to state sponsored education, and to the dichotomy of slavery to the controllers/polluters/bankers/ insurers/ OR primitivism. But its easier to just call anyone who doesn't like the way capitalism has taken us Commies or Socialists. No need to look, let alone think, outside the prefab box IP: Logged |

The left wants a lot of free things, but free energy isn't one of them. The green movement is all about this green: Ever heard of a rich Socialist? Feel the Bern!IP: Logged |

Off topic I'm afraid Randall. this is about innovative solutions to the hoarding of energy for profit by a few companies, about ways to live without them. "Leftist" is in quotes for a reason. Cause there really isn't anything very leftist about any of it Energy is actually free in many ways.. but power companies believe they own it. What they own is some of the means of production, not the energy itself

Many of the people involved in finding such solutions are actually more conservative than socialist, but politics and its sealed and separate boxes aren't necessarily going to make anything better anytime soon. Designing a new way of living could tho. IP: Logged |

But thanks for demonstrating the dynamic I was talking about.. you went straight to the stock put down. Earthships are fabulous.. and the entrepreneurs teaching peoole how to build them, selling starter kits and plans, and demonstrating that cheap and recycled doesnt have to mean primitivist.. about as far from socialist as you can get IP: Logged |

Not so much as one (1) lightbulb has been lit with "Zero Point Energy".Hey, how about we drop wind and solar and spend the billions..trillions on "Zero Point Energy"...another "pie in the sky" scam. Remember TC...Total Conversion. Of course you don't but the theory was/is, the complete conversion of matter...any matter into energy. Where's Nicola Tesla when we need him! IP: Logged |

Are you saying that whats never been done should not be contemplated? You do know once upona no one had ever used oil or autos, don't you? What is the virtue of settling for what were used to?Earthships work and provide a high standard off living for very little money..and other forms of energy are coming along too. As well as warp drives and other "fantasies" considered impractical by most people. There's a new improved lithium battery now as well, making solar more efficient and less problematic. IP: Logged |
