In times like this, where the individuals are so divergent from the norms of American society, we must remain steadfast in the protection of the First Amendment, but that doesn't excuse any violent acts on either side of the spectrum. There is only one side, America's side, so you got that right, Mer. The problem is that far left extremism and far right extremism are both antitheses to our American values. The Constitution, under which our government was founded, must always remain at the core of our foundation. Lose the Constitution, and then we will truly find ourselves in a police state.

Bullshiiite!

President Trump condemned racism, bigotry and violence...from all parties. Which was exactly what any American President should do.

Ok, here's your big chance to post a direct quote from the mouth of the President that matches what David Duke said...whatever that was.

The issue is that they WERE THERE and participated in the riot. In fact, without their presence...with their clubs, bats and violence, there wouldn't have been a riot at all.

No there would have been a one sided bloodbath instead of both sides. Friday night proved that when unarmed people standing still with a sign were beaten by the torch bearing White Thugs with their own bats.

He did not! Why are you defending his saying that there were fine people on BOTH SIDES??? He's defending Nazi's, as he says that. Nazis!!!

Do either of you have Jewish or black friends? Do you? Do you know how they feel? Do you even care?

Quit the Democrat Deflection Directive. It doesn't work. The Crackerjack News Network isn't the tripe to mimic.

How do you account for the African Americans and Jews that support President Trump? That doesn't quite fit your narrative, does it?

There were no anti-fa at the campus Friday night. Why do you persist in apologizing for these guys? (It wouldn't have happened without the violent opposition is exactly what they claim.. but Friday night they set on an unarmed small group of people who dared talk back..free speech for me but not for thee)

The woman who died was not antifa nor among them but here we're promised more such if anyone challenges them

A side note to share with the bloviating, Messiah lovin, leftist hooligans here ..

I occasionaly work with 3 people who are Trump voters . Landscaping labors who went to hear Trumps speech when he was in MI.

Today ,in conversation, ALL three said trump finally crossed the line and one said he feels he owes Americans an apology for his vote.

I told him he followed his beliefs and no apology needed. Just be active in helping others see the folly , lies, corruption of power in this potus.

Onward and upward America!!!!!

Everyone needs to take a chill pill. If everyone agreed to practice nonviolence in order to expose the other side as the culprit.. problem over.

However theres a vicious circle in motion now and the police don't seem too eager to PREVENT violence in these situations

I agree with Trump that the local govts should decide what statues to keep/ remove.. but that is what Charlottesville did and he blames them for trying to erase heritage.

the carrying of confederate flags (with metal pointed tips) 150 years after its demise... talk about sore losers..

http://fair-use.org/robert-e-lee/letter-to-his-wife-on-slavery[b]

In this enlightened age, there are few I believe, but what will acknowledge, that slavery as an institution, is a moral & political evil in any Country. It is useless to expatiate on its disadvantages. I think it however a greater evil to the white man than to the black race, & while my feelings are strongly enlisted in behalf of the latter, my sympathies are more strong for the former. The blacks are immeasurably better off here than in Africa, morally, socially & physically. The painful discipline they are undergoing, is necessary for their instruction as a race, & I hope will prepare & lead them to better things. How long their subjugation may be necessary is known & ordered by a wise Merciful Providence

Presumptuous and dismissive. Why are you putting words in juni's mouth? Your continued impersonation of the Oracle of Delphi is ludicrous.

She just relayed a factual convo with some remorseful Trump voters. You on the other hand have consulted your crystal ball and personal preference.

That's what I told a man I don't know, on facebook last night. That I don't think that all trump voters are racists, so I was hoping that those who aren't, would step up and do the right thing.

None of the trump supporters I know, the few that I do, have said a word. They've been extremely quiet. At least they aren't defending him.

You presume to know a) what the truth is and b) that she wishes it were not what you think it is. We are a long way from the whole story yet. She merely told you a TRUE STORY of a few individuals- who, having voted forTrump are probly not blind followers of the MSM tho they may have been blinded by the rightwing media who explained away every dog whistle DT blew - and what she suggested they do about their remorse moving forward.

The thing is Randall that while its true there are violents on both sides DT has made many false equivalences... Lee is not controversial because he owned slaves but because he fought to keep them slaves and led a seditious army to do so.

The chants were not about history but being "replaced" by Jews. A recruiting party that went south because they were met by equally violent opposites. Not because they were peaceful

The truth is available, but this is about putting words in Juni's mouth, as you alleged. She has been quite vocal about how she feels about President Trump. Nothing has to be assumed in that regard. My conmentary was referring to the Trump supporters she mention being duped by the media. All gloves are off with nothing off limits to get President Trump, all because Hillary lost the election.

Now they want to remove Washington. Where is the line drawn? You can't sanitize history. MLK didn't believe in gay marriage. Will they pull down his statues? What I find interesting is that the left never mentions statues of Stalin, who murdered millions. Why do you suppose that is?

Who is after Washington? Source please?

Please stop parroting your version of the media. There are many many MANY people who could care less about Hillary that despise DT. It may make you feel better to think they are brainwashed and disappointed that she lost but many people voted for HER, who didn't want her.. because they thought he was worse.

Your golden boy can't admit that it might actually be that more people voted AGAINST him than her.. hence the narrative that its all about being sore losers. This is his time honoured excuse for not getting every ounce of recognition hhe believes he deserves.

Has Hillary made a lot of excuses? Yes. Was there a right wing conspiracy against her? Yes. Bannon, Ingraham, Conway and Drudge went all out to bring her down.. to put themselves where they are now. It just wasn't as "vast" when she first mentioned it as it is now after decades of RIGHTWING MEDIA telling you what to think about her every move.

Is she corrupt? Yes. Was she a poor candidate? Yes. But its also true that she is no way the evil Dr Caligari theyve created for your consumption

Nor that they are the true patriots and protectors of the constitution.
