You're right to point out that they weren't all Nazis. It's funny that Trump said in his ranting madman stream of thought that he called a press conference that local municipalities should decide what to do with their civil war monuments. Charlottesville City Council voted to sell the statue. Then white supremacists from across the country made it their mission to invade their city for the sole purpose of terrorizing and intimidating Charlottesville and other cities into keeping these monuments that glorify the worst period in American history. So, the truth finally comes out, despite the smoke screen from the lying left. The large group there who had the permit came to peacefully protest the removal of the statue. The Nazi nut jobs actually had no permit. And the peaceful protesters were attacked by ANTIFA as they tried to leave.IP: Logged |

No, a large group of them were there simply because they believed that you can't sanitize history. If the left doesn't like something, they want to tear it down, including shutting down free speech. Today statues, tomorrow burning books, and then a police state. That's why the true colors of the left reveal that the designation of Dems as "the tolerant party" was all a lie. It's very clear whose side Trump is on, and which side he is blaming for the death of Heather Heyer. He said this during his press conference... "You had a group on one side that was bad and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent. No one wants to say that, but I'll say it right now. You had a group on the other side that came charging in without a permit and they were very, very violent." He describes the white supremacists as "bad" and those protesting against them as "very violent" and "very, very violent." No dog whistles needed, everyone can hear the messages he's trying to convey loud and clear. No mention of the fact that many white supremacists were armed with guns and other weapons. Nope they were just there to sing Kumbaya and bask in the happier days of the Confederacy and all of a sudden these very, very violent people that respect equality and are against racism showed up and all hell broke loose. Right? The only person murdered at that rally was a counter protestor. And which side does Trump claim is "very violent"? He is seriously unhinged, and anyone that shares his twisted logic needs their head checked! Trump supporters will literally follow this clown off a cliff and defend his every word, and anyone that criticizes him is "fake news". Yes, counter protesting is protected speech. But pelting peaceful protesters with rocks and hitting them with bats isn't counter protesting. Unlike the guns, the bats were put to use in violent acts. Many people in this country carry guns everywhere. As long as they have a permit and a gun is not forbidden, then that is lawful. If those carrying guns were violent as you claim, why were no shots fired? And yes, we already all agree that the driver is a domestic terrorist. Do share if you have any quotes of President Trump saying anything in support of the driver. Quite the opposite, in fact. I read an account from someone who was there, and they said they now support Antifa- they backed off when asked (they'd stepped up to protect them), but when Nazis started to rush them, ready to assault, the Antifa's rushed in to protect them. I'm ready to fight Nazis. IP: Logged |
