Not seeing the Oregon law on that link. Statistically, at least in America, sex is not the most important factor in deciding for abortions. Mothers health, age, poverty, abusive partners/ family , compromised fetuses are all higher on the list. In fact of women who were willing to give reasons, it doesn't even register

China enforced minimal childbirth for awhile. Many abortions and infants being thrown in the trash was the result because boys are preferred there (as in many countries and among some Americans too).Allowing abortion and penalizing childbirth are two different things. The abortion rate peaked in the 90s. The death - by - illegal-abortion rate has plummeted since Roe v Wade. Late term abortions comprise a minuscule percentage and the sex of the child is not even an item on this ProLife site
