venezuela chavismo and now "madurismo" has nothing to do with socialism...this has been the most ideological mess that I have ever seen in my life. to say this has been socialism (no matter what they call it) shows that you have no clue about venezuela. whoever wants to understand the process in venezuela needs to get rid of ideaological assumptions such as "left" and "right" and really observe the reality that cannot be cateogirzed as socialism... many country in Europe such as Sweden or Norway are far more "socialist" than Venezuela.. I know what I am talking about by first hand experience. please document yourselves (rather than basing your opinions on isolated articles) before starting giving opinions about countries you have no understanding whatsoever... Right! Both Chavez and Maduro were Marxist Communists and in the case of Maduro, he still is. All forms of collectivist governments and parties fall under the umbrella of "Socialism". As usual, President Trump got it right. Socialism is a total failure everywhere it's implemented. IP: Logged |
