The last few weeks have been tragic for America with terrible flooding, storms and devastation that has left 3.5 million in Puerto Rico on the brink. 100s could be dead there, 1000s more could die of disease. And in this tough situation, a terrorist attack.

America needs Healing. Now.
It is high time the GOP and the Democrat Politicians stop bothering about the Media Wars of Alt-Right or Left Liberal or Bannon vs CNN or Trump vs NFL or this Celebrity vs that Celebrity.

There has to be pro-people governance, Congress/Senate has to empower aid, empower Military to help Puerto Rico/Virgin Islands with 100% efficiency for instance.

Iran is not the enemy, North Korea is not the enemy. Muslims are not the enemy.
The Enemy is the Hate Brimming within pitting ideology vs ideology, Religion vs Religion and Race vs Race.

Do not expect Media to enable healing, they lose their ratings if there is 100% Peace.

Healing has to occur on an individual and community basis. Do not let any group spew hatred be it Alt-Right or Anti-Fa or whatever.

There could be 5000 or even 10000 potential White Terrorists with assault rifles in Mainland USA, courtesy MK-Ultra Project, waiting for a trigger to go postal.

If there is peace, they will stay as sleepers and go to their grave peacefully.

Hoping and Praying that Americans rise above politics and politicians to enable total peace and unity in the days to come.

if we want peace in the word, we need to bring back all our projections and become in peace with ourselves and stop looking the enemy outside. we are part of the problem or the solution..

With regards to guns, I would be interested in research comparing America's gun crime rates with the UK's, where guns are illegal. Controlling of course for the differences in populations and size.

The need for a gun, the *right* to have a gun, is a mindset I cannot get my head around. I cannot recall one time in my life thinking 'Man, if only I had a gun right now, I could solve this problem!'

I suspect the biggest issue giving up guns for those who are used to having them is fear. I do not have to fear being shot, as the main shootings in the UK are between rival gangs or criminals. None of which I am involved with. However, should my nasty neighbour have access to a gun, and I do not. Well, I would feel I should also have one in the event I may have to defend myself when I complain about the volume of her music!

Yes, I think it is fear. Guns have become a part of the US's culture and obviously confer some sense of security to their owners.

It may interest you to know that not even many of our most prolific serial killers were found to be psychotic.
Anti-social traits - yes.
Horrendously adverse childhood experiences - yes (in most cases).
Psychotic - no.

It's the nature-nurture debate, isn't it. Except there isn't really a debate anymore.
It is clear that those with anti-social traits still require *environment* to pull the trigger before any violence will occur.
