Catching up on Comedy Central’s “The President Show”

My poor neighbors probably don’t know what to think, hearing me howling with laughter at this show. Best DT impersonation ever IMO.

Fave part of the show is each intro when he does the “LET”S ROLL!” bit. Lmfao

There is so much to be sad, angry and depressed about in the world right now, I’m thankful there is good comedy aimed at....

The #ME TOO & stories shared, brought up memories of my own sexual abuse (early years by a male baby-sitter) and later harassment by men (& boys) in “power” throughout life in the workplace and beyond. I’ll never forget the horrific experience I had once when I was around 6 years old, walking to the corner store to buy some candy with the money my grandmother sent me in a card for Easter....getting quickly and aggressively surrounded by a gang of neighborhood boys, some walking and some on bikes, grabbing, pinching, squeezing, tugging at my shirt, chest and grabbing my bum and VIOLATING me - a young girl all alone. Scaring the absolute **** out of me. After they left I turned a corner and sat down and cried my eyes out, hyperventilating and traumatized. That’s the first time I was violated by the male species. Did I tell anyone, NO. Most girls and women don’t. I’m glad that’s finally changing and I’m glad so many high profile women are finally speaking up and setting the stage for REAL change. FINALLY. We’ve put up with too much, for too long.

I have something on my Pinterest that says:

“Women and the Earth
Have had to tolerate
A LOT”

And that says it all.

Unfortunately nearly every woman you talk to had similar experiences while young girls. My brother was 2 yrs older and friends of his tried stuff w/ me, not into giving details right now.

Yes, unfortunately almost every woman I know too, has had similar experiences, usually at an early age. It’s horrifying to learn how many of your friends have been sexually abused & assaulted as children (and beyond) too. I think the statistic is 1 in 4 girls are, before the age of 7 . And higher before the age of 14....

Next year transiting Pluto will finally be in my 1st house once and for all, and stop crossing back and forth over my ASC. “Stoic” is definitely the word for Taurus right now. I think Uranus is soon to enter our sign too....major shift...
