Looks like there will be an early Saturday session. What's next? A conference to work out the differences between the Senate Bill and the House Bill.

It will pass. Will it cut deficits or not?
Can it boost growth for the middle class?
Will more jobs get created?

We cannot know in 1 or 2 quarters but by September 2018, it will be very clear.

This Bill sets a new precedent. Someday in the future, if Democrats have a majority, they too can railroad any Bill they want at the last moment even if it is opposed by a majority of Americans.

Nolte: Obamacare Mandate Repeal Is the Most Important Civil Rights Victory in Years
John Nolte
2 Dec 2017

Going all the way back to 2009, it was obvious Obamacare would end up looking like a Rube Goldberg machine powered by totalitarianism. Who would have ever guessed, though, it was such a fiasco that the mandate would actually cost the government money — a delicious irony that would result in its undoing.
It works like this…

For the sin of being born, Obamacare mandates that every American purchase health insurance. If we do not purchase this totally unnecessary, godawful product (more on this below), we are required by law to pay a hefty tax to the federal government.

Somehow, and I do not really care how, this tax actually costs the government money, some $340 billion — with a “B” — every ten years.

Only Bill Ayers’ pal and his merry band of congressional nincompoops could crawl so far up their own backsides that they were able to find a tax that increases the deficit.

But thank heavens they did. Had they not, the Senate would not have repealed the mandate Friday night.

After the humiliation of failing to keep their defining promise to repeal Obamacare, the Senate turned to tax reform, which also looked sketchy due to deficit projections. But then the clouds parted and the stars aligned with the discovery that repealing the Obamacare mandate would save the government this $340 billion.

Talk about a win-win. Here was a way to kill the most hated (and crucial) part of Obamacare and pass tax cuts. And that is exactly what happened — the American people won a sweet two-fer: lower taxes and freedom from a fascist mandate....

It will apparently add 1.5 trillion to the national debt, and makes things worse for us. The middle class is basically poor now. They don't give a **** about us.

The economic growth will far surpass that 1.5 trillion. And where was the outrage when Obama spent $10 trillion? Suddenly Dems are concerned about debt?

"Thank you, President Trump!"

Are you aware that this bill will end cancer treatment for Medicare patients?

This isn't exaggeration, hyperbole, or partisan spin. It's just a plain fact that this bill will cut Medicare in this way. Because this bill will blow a $1.5 trillion hole in the deficit, it will also trigger an automatic $25 billion annual cut to Medicare, under a savage austerity scheme known as the "sequester." And because of the unusual way Medicare covers chemotherapy drugs—which are very expensive—cancer patients are going to be uniquely burdened by these cuts.

It's also not in any way hypothetical, because it happened once before, back in 2013. This is how the headlines read at the time:

"Cancer clinics are turning away thousands of Medicare patients. Blame the sequester."

These cuts were never reversed, and they've had a devastating impact on cancer care. And with a fresh round of cuts, we're going to see this happen again, meaning the most vulnerable among us are going to be forced to go without life-saving treatments.

In other words, they're going to die.

Is that what you're so happy about?

In addition, financial firms are already warning their clients that the proposed cuts to social security cld crash the stock market.

Cancer doctors from all over the country "have reworked schedules, moved patient visits, and more" to travel to Washington, D.C. "to warn policymakers of the real dangers that the continued use of the sequester cut as a budget gimmick has a very real and dangerous impact on cancer care in the United States."

Read the Community Oncology Alliance (COA) Practice Impact Report for 2016 and other years to understand the impact on patient care

“Our elected officials need to understand that this sequester may seem like funny money to them but it is a slow bleed closing cancer clinics and forcing them into the waiting arms of more expensive hospital systems—especially those profiting off 340B,” said Jeff Vacirca, MD, president of COA and CEO of NY Cancer Specialists.

“Congress needs to understand that their doubling down on the sequester and constantly extending it will result in community oncology practices being forced to shut their doors, which will cause access issues for patients and increase treatment costs as cancer care shifts to expensive hospitals.”

Is that what you wanted?

When thr ACA bill came to vote the shrieks of "rammed through with no time to read" were endless in these pages. Only a week to read s thousand pages!

This bill is half the length and reading time was less than 8 hours. Nice work sheisters.. And they didn't even have time to put it in legible typed form?

The famous raise in standard deduction is actually there.. at what cost? For starters

The bill roughly doubles the standard deduction for tax filers, from $6,350 to $12,000 for individual filers and from $12,700 to $24,000 to married couples filing jointly. But the Senate plan also eliminates the personal exemption. Currently, tax filers can claim an exemption of $4,050 for the filer, spouse and each dependent. The House bill takes similar steps.

Then there's the host of deductions eliminated that doubles down on the loss of insurance coverage for millions.

Nice work if you can get it and your expenses are paid, if you own s private jet and the taxpayer pays your insurance.

Dont give up because they didn't kill it teasel..

The removal of capital gains tax alone wld benefit 45 and his family 1 billion...and he said "believe me this bill doesn't benefit me at all"

Wonder if he wld be willing to give a fraction of that billion...say 25 million to medicare so that cancer patients don't die...

Oh what a ridiculous thought...considering he let 1000 puerto ricans die after the hurricane when only 16 died during the actual storm.

Thank him all you want but remember how this bill is going to cost the poor and disenfranchised...or maybe that doesn't matter to you bc you feel that caring for the poor and sick in your own country is too "socialistic"

Too bad you don't want to face the truth bc you fear it. That's exactly the mind set that can be easily programmed...one that is too fearful to face the truth

If you really believe that corporations are going to use the billions in tax breaks they're getting, into bolstering the economy of the country, then you really have no idea what is happening in washington or who is running the country.

A bunch of CEO's have already been secretly taped discussing that they're not going to put money into creating new jobs. The tape is not on mainstream media, i won't bother posting the link, bc you'll just call it fake news, bc you're far more comfortable believing the lies you're being told.

Have you read abt the paradise papers?

The "federal" reserve bank is not federal. It is a private organization owned by a select grp of bankers who print money and loan it to the US, always w/ interest. They're so rich and therefore so powerful that no matter which "party" is in power, it is always their agenda that is fulfilled. They own the country and they're running it via their puppets. Part of their plan is to make sure that america never gets out of debt, bc if she did, how wld they continue to prosper financially?

Party politics is a game, a dog and pony show, w/ them pulling the strings behind the scenes. They buy politicians on both sides to fulfill their own agenda. All you have to do is follow the money...find out which politician is way richer than their govt salary allows...those are the ones that have been bought. Even the koch brothers...who threatened the GOP that they wld withhold $750 mill from 2018 elections unless they pass this tax bill... even they are the puppets of the bankers.

So while they keep people like you and jwhop busy hating the democrats and upholdibg an us-versus-them mentality, they quietly pass laws that benefit them only. They know that programmed people can be easily distracted. And you're proving them right.

They control people through fear. Most like you, are too afraid to want to know the truth. So you're fed lies through politicians which you believe easily.

The tax breaks that are always given to corporations and the super rich, are always made up by taxing the middle class. This bill is going to increase taxes on anyone who makes less than 75k...which is the middle class...which forms the largest bulk of the population. Some honest billionaires have come right out and said it...that this bill is going to put more money in their pockets and they're the ones who don't need it. And aftr this bill, paul ryan, who's been wanting to gut social security and medicare to fulfill the bankers' agenda (he's a bought and paid for reptilian), will go abt making "changes" to the two programs, which will devastate all except those making high 7 figures.

Puerto rico's economy failed bc of big corporations who fleeced evyone through an extraction economy instead of a democratic one. In an extraction economy, money is not put back to build infrastructure etc, as it is in a democracy. The money is kept by the corporations...hidden in offshore accounts. So they not only fleece the country but they squeeze their advantage by not paying taxes either. This is what they want to do to the rest of america, run it as an extraction economy, so they won't have to spend a dime on the common man.

Trickle down economy has been disproved as being effective by honest econonists, but the bankers keep feeding evyone this lie. They want to fleece the middle class and don't care that the gap between the rich and poor has been widening for years, w/ more and more of the middle class slipping below poverty level. The bankers can do this easily bc of their belief that only the rich, being superior, deserve to thrive, and so what if the poor die, but as long as the poor and the middle class live, they shld serve the purpose of padding the wallets of the rich. The word greed does not even begin to describe who the bankers truly are.

[And just bc people like steve bannon and 45 come across as "anti-establishment" it doesn't mean that they're pro the common man. Bannon is a self professed satan worshipper, he said this openly in an interview. When someone tells you who they are, it is wise to believe them.]

So yes, there's a war...but it's not between the democrats and republicans...it's between the haves and have nots...it's a class war

The sooner you face this reality, the more likely you will be, as a person w/ innate intelligence and wisdom, to start realizing that good people need to band together to fight the injustices that are happening in our country...there's no point in looking towards politicians...their fears have been used against them and many have been bought and paid for...it's us, the people, who have to stand together and demand what is right and deserving for all of us. To do this, we have to become aware and informed first.

If you're really interested in understanding why you're being lied to, begin by researching "agenda 21" and go from there. Stop watching mainstream media bc it's all lies...on both sides, bc the media is controlled by the bankers. It may take time to uncover the truth, but time is a small price to pay in return for freedom of thought and preservation of humanity. Never before in the history of mankind, have we been in this much danger of losing our humanity as we are today.

As owner of a website that reaches 100s of 1000s, you're being given a unique opportunity to awaken and live beyond the lower three chakras, so that you can help all those who flock to your website in search of information and help. Karmic debts of many lifetimes can be overcome by doing this.

Of course you also have the choice to completely ignore what i've said by thinking i'm a nutjob and go back to numbing your brain by watching reality tv shows...it's all up to you

No, and neither are you.

It was Obama and ObamaCare that removed about $750,000,000,000 from the Medicare budget to fund ObamaCare.

Hey, listen up!

Anytime projected years spending is decreased, leftist loons screech, howl and shriek that the budget was CUT AND, no matter that year to year spending was INCREASED.

However, thanks for calling the Marxist Messiah, Obama a liar.

Smoking Gun: Obama Admits He Cut Billions from Medicare to Fund Obamacare
Guy Benson
Aug 15, 2012

We've been having some fun with a clip of David Axelrod angrily denouncing the fact that President Obama gutted Medicare by $700 Billion in order to partially pay for a brand new entitlement program. Axelrod's campaign colleague Stephanie Cutter refuted him on another show, calling the Medicare cuts an "achievement." But pay attention to the argument Axelrod makes here:

"You're repeating a misstatement by the Republicans. I would call it a lie."

Now let's take a look at another video clip of a very unlikely culprit repeating this precise Republican "lie." I featured this in a post yesterday evening, but I want to make sure it achieves an appropriate level of saturation. From ABC News in 2009:

TAPPER: “One of the concerns about health care and how you pay for it — one third of the funding comes from cuts to Medicare.”

BARACK OBAMA: “Right.”

TAPPER: “A lot of times, as you know, what happens in Congress is somebody will do something bold and then Congress, close to election season, will undo it.”

OBAMA: “Right.”

TAPPER: “You saw that with the ‘doc fix’.”

OBAMA: “Right.”

TAPPER: “Are you willing to pledge that whatever cuts in Medicare are being made to fund health insurance, one third of it, that you will veto anything that tries to undo that?”

OBAMA: “Yes. I actually have said that it is important for us to make sure this thing is deficit neutral, without tricks. I said I wouldn’t sign a bill that didn’t meet that criteria.”

Did you even READ my full post or do you just like to spew stuff so your "gnarly" voice can be heard??

I "know" bc i read what i wrote AND WHAT I WROTE IS THAT THE SEQUESTER WAS FIRST APPLIED IN 2013!!! AND THAT IT WAS NEVER REVERSED

THE CURRENT BILL IS GOING TO MAKE THE SEQUESTER WORSE BY WITHDRAWING EVEN MORE MONEY FROM IT!!!

What abt this do you not understand??

I know bc i read the Community Oncology Alliance impact report. Did you??

Be careful or i'm going to have to add UTR (unable to read) to my other acronyms for you
