The jobs report came out today. There are 228,000 new jobs for November. The major increases are in manufacturing (31,000), healthcare, and business services. There's 19,000 new jobs in retail alone (a sign of a robust economy). As a result, the DOW closed at another all-time record for the 86th time since President Trump took office. Wages are up 2.5% since a year ago. Unemployment is at 4.1%! With the economy booming like this, tax reform will be like throwing fuel on the proverbial fire! Just a one-point increase in GDP will pay for the supposed deficit caused by the cuts. Thank you, President Trump!

Its Christmas Randall. Lets see what the seasonal adjustment looks like.

Yesterday i saw a quote from Don Wan about how the hurricanes last quarter mucked up the gdp... as if such events aren't actually part of the picture on a sonewhat regular basis.

So lets remember that Christmas is part of these numbers too

Those stats are from November. And those five hurricanes were a drain on our resources and did prevent us from reaching 4% GDP.

Yep, Christmas workers start earlier than December. My dad picked up jobs with UPS, and others, like selling salt, when he was out of a regular job.

Again, adding retail jobs is a sign of a good economy. This has been a record-setting holiday shopping season. The main thing is all the thousands of new manufacturing jobs (over 100,000 in ten months). Obama was losing 1,000 manufacturing jobs a month!

Adding temporary jobs is a sign of people continuing to spend in order to try to do something nice for the people they love. Or there's impulse spending, when you're depressed, as I've mentioned.

There are also how many kids out there, with christmas lists a mile long?

Manufacturing jobs. Get it? And wish lists sure didn't help Obama when he was losing jobs like holes taking in water in the sinking Titanic.

There was a rise (and then fall) in the unemployment rates in 2016. Overall between Jan 10 and Jan 17 the rate went down by 6%.

Good to see it continue to improve but underObama we also had 4.1% and even 3%. So.. lowest since 2000? Nope

Make no mistake, global economy affects this and Tromp hasn't got a major slump to pull out of but a major improvement to build on.

Funny how you dismissed and even denigrated a similar or better rate of improvement under Obama, but prefer to echo the Breitbarf propaganda that he actually lost jobs.

Fake news. This is the lowest unemployment rate since 2000--way before your Messiah took office.

Unwelcome news you mean. Actual numbers. Boohoo

And yes, the numbers were way worsr when Obama took office and even after a year but since then they've been getting better with a few dips.

As I said it's good they're still improving but try to be reasonable.. there's no major turnaround in this year's figures and most were on last year's budget and economy

I've already explained how President Trump affected the budget and how he eliminated burdensome regulations unleashing economic growth. Obama fostered hopelessness, expanding welfare rolls and suffocating growth, and President Trump fostered hope, increasing consumer confidence almost exponentially.

The numbers make you wrong. Tromp came in on the tail of 75 straight months of impressive jobs growth. As I keep saying, its great that its still improving but it's starting from a pretty good place. When Obama came in jobs were hemorrhaging, peoole were losing their homes and savings. Turning that around is different than capitalizing on the gains.

So there's really no comparing but for some reason you want to pretend it was Obama who caused the recession and all those losses. ..it doesnt fly, sorry. I doubt Tromp knows how to start at the bottom and pull it out of a ditch but that's been done for him

He was, and he wasn't. But again its a mistake to credit thr President with more than he is able to control, especially when Congress is out to roadblock him.

From a link in your article.
