First of all, let me say that history shows that the Republicans can expect to lose 10 or 15 seats in the House. This will have nothing to do with President Trump's tweets, Doug Jones' win, or the tax bill. However, Democrats in deep red states will have to overcome the presumption that allowing them to keep their seats could result in repeal of this bill. The Dems' talking point is the 10-year expiration of individual tax cuts, but the real expiration is if/when Dems take over! So, despite the fact that Republicans will no doubt lose seats (as the party of the President always does during a mid-term), the Republicans will also pick up some seats due specifically to this bill (as I referenced above). Plus, despite the deranged scare tactics of the left, when people see the increase in their take-home pay in February, that will significantly increase the bill's popularity.

The Damage of 10-15 seats is too optimistic considering the abysmal Approval Rating of Trump. Expect 20+ seats loss, and a flipping of the Senate as well. The Hatred building up against those like Collins and Corker is unparalleled in modern history. Americans of both parties never hated opposing candidates like this.

Just look at the Non-Robot Twitter Accounts, accounts of highly educated Americans. For one genuine Trump supporter, there are 5 opposing Tweets, of verified accounts in most cases.

Deep Blue Wave in 2018 and beyond.

I believe people are sick of Dems and Reps. Watch for more Independents to stand up in 2020.

tax bill or no tax bill, mid-term is iffy for Pubbys and it`s their own fault.
Keeping a pedo/abuser front and center is going to cost them.

It's all about the money. When people see the larger take-home pay, it will hit home that the Dems lied. This bill will lower the taxes for 80%! And do not be deceived (or better yet, do) in thinking President Trump's popularity is that low. Due to the negative coverage, people don't express their true feelings to pollsters. If you recall, candidate Trump's popularity was low in some states that he crushed Hillary in. The same phenomenon applies.
