AT&T say they will now invest $1 billion in America in 2018 and give 200,000 employees a $1,000 bonus! Is everyone tired of winning yet?

Comcast to make a capital investment of $50 billion and pay thousands of non-executives $1,000 each!

At least two corporations to hike wages to $15 an hour!

Just hours after this bill passed today!

It's paid for with the tax cut. I guess liberal math doesn't add up.

Orrin Hatch Heaps Praise on Trump After Tax Reform Passage
Jason Devaney
Wednesday, 20 Dec 2017

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, had high praise for President Donald Trump during a White House ceremony Wednesday that marked the passage of the GOP's tax reform legislation.

The 83-year-old Hatch began serving in the Senate in 1977 and has chaired the Senate Finance Committee since 2015. Trump asked him to speak during the Wednesday event because of his efforts on tax reform.

"Mr. President, I have to say that you're living up to everything I thought you would," Hatch said. "You're one heck of a leader. We're all benefitting from it. This bill could not have passed without you."

The White House lawn grew silent as Hatch heaped praise on Trump and the lawmakers who helped get the tax bill passed.

"This is just the beginning," Hatch said. "You stop and think about it, this president hasn't even been in office for a year. Look at all the things he's been able to get done by sheer will in many ways. I just hope that we get behind him every way we can, and we'll get this country turned around in ways that will benefit the whole world.

"Above all, benefit our people. Bring us all to a realization of how really great America really is and how the rest of the world depends on us.".....

**pls don't quote**

I studied Marketing/mgment a bit in my younger years.
I think I have an understanding of capitalism
based on that
study, as well as life and previously
knowing business owners. This trickle
down effect won't go as AT&T wants to
make us believe. There's a very good
chance to raise those extra funds for
their "non management" staff, they will
likely up rates on consumers. We in
America are in need and some addicted
to cell phones and other products/services
they provide. Their industry corner is
more a monopoly than most wish to admit.
One of them raises the rates, they all will.
Consumers have less rights then 20 years ago.
I am not political but I believe in rights to a
fair economy for the average Joe.

Good, and President Trump is giving the "average joe" a fair shake!

Reduced tax rates on middle class earners.
Doubled the individual tax exemption.
Increased the Child Tax credit.

And a 20% tax cut for LLCs, S corps, and sole-proprietorships, many of which are mom and pops, and which make up a lot of the middle class.

I also love the instant expensing. That is going to be huge for small businesses. I mean yuuuuuuge! Instead of having to depreciate equipment, we can take the full deduction in the year purchased. That helps small businesses, but it also encourages large corporations to make large improvements and expansions.
