She's cold. She's so cold she's trying to tell me my 0 degree temps today are "balmy." There's literally no impressing her.

Glad to hear juni is talking.

When it's -18F, 0 degrees sounds like a heat wave!

Grateful for something like 15 today. It's icy cold, and our heating is messing about, but still working at times. Hoping it won't crap out completely.

And right after the failing New York Times just published an article saying we are seeing "the end of snow."

Things are looking up here jwhop!!
After 9 days and 52 inchs of snow, it finally stopped snowing. The temp reads a toasty negative five and for the first time in 4 days, I hear the rumble of the snow plow and grader. The power grid seems to be holding up so electricity is the bonus.

It has been an exhausting haul with the financial costs of this global warming trend is yet to be known.

I think the polar bears need to build a wall and keep their blasted air from crossing the border

Happy New Years Eve

I heard our southern brothers and sisters are going to get slammed with brutal temps, snow and ice.

Since they are not used to dealing with it, I wish them to be safe and stay inside!

It was a steady 9 degrees here, and then a nice 0 degrees. I was stuck in an ice storm last week. Back up in the double digits now, but it looks like we're headed for snow/ice again this week.

Good ol' NC.

I was out in -2 degree weather. I spoke to a homeless woman in a walmart bathroom. As bad as these corporations can be, stores that are open 24 hours help people like this. I didn't know she was homeless until she spoke to me. Nobody chucked them out, that I know of. There were others around.
The one woman had a little dog, in one of those bags designed to carry them. She told me she had no place to go. I meant to get her name, at least. I saw her again tonight, walking him outside another store.

Accumulating snow here. Glad I don't have to drive in this.

Wow, you birds south of here are really getting hammered this winter

We go up then plunge into the deep freeze.

An odd winter of super cold than warmth. Could it be climate change?
