Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has earned a deserved reputation as a no-nonsense opponent of appeasement. His expansion of the India-Israel relationship and personal affinity with President Donald Trump and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu have strengthened that perception.

The latest evidence that it is more than a perception came this week, when Modi's government discontinued half-century-old government subsidies provided to Muslim pilgrims going on the Hajj. The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca that Muslims must carry out at least once, so long as they are physically and financially able – artificial conditions that the subsidy is intended to create.

That's right: the government of India has been spending badly needed funds for one religious community's annual pilgrimage. (There is even a special terminal in New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport exclusively for Hajj pilgrims, which is closed for most of the year.) Since 2008, about 120,000 Muslims have utilized the government money to go on the Hajj, according to the Indian government, costing the Indian people almost a half-billion dollars in the last five years alone. This money now will be used for educational purposes, especially for girls who have been particularly underserved in accordance with community practice.

1. The Subsidy was ended by Supreme Court of India in 2012.

2. Not a single dollar of the subsidy ever went into a Muslim pocket. It went straight into the Nationalized Airplane "Air India".

3. A normal round trip ticket of $400 was artificially priced up to $1400 during Hajj, and Indian Muslims pilgrims were forced by the Government Hajj Committee to fly Air India.
Thus, the "Subsidy" went from the government to the government.

4. Narendra Modi is a Curse on Humankind. He has been responsible for the direct deaths of 3000 Indian Civilians in a Genocide, many planned assassinations, the Rise of Chinese Control on Indian Borders, the elimination of Food Aid to 50 million impoverished by forcing a Nazi ID Card linked to bank accounts which the poor cannot utilize. His Demonetization of National Currency took 150 lives and eliminated 10 million informal jobs in India, creating Debt Crisis in millions of Families.

5. India will become Great once the Centrist Indian National Congress wins again. Until then, Modi is Making China Great. He ltes them do whatever they want while dividing every Race/Ethnic Community in India.
