I wonder why 🤣
Barely an hour after Justice Antonin Scalia died in February 2016, McConnell issued a statement vowing to block any Obama replacement ― an unprecedented level of obstruction aimed at a sitting president. He came up with the argument that, because Obama only had one year left in office, the next president had a right to fill the court seat.

BUT, this President, President Trump doesn't have just one more year in the Oval Office. Trump has 2 and a half years...+ four more years beyond that.

Sorry but that tripe doesn't cut any ice.

Kavanaugh will be confirmed by the Senate...before the mid-term elections...forcing Senate demorats to vote. If those Senate demorats attempt to obstruct Kavanaugh's confirmation, they'll be slitting their own political throats. I can think of 10 demorat Senators up for election in Red States where Trump won with a 10 point margin or more over Hillary The Corrupt. They can kiss their sorry a$$es goodbye.

There is no reason they should vote to confirm him. And every reason they.. and more than one republican should vote against him.

There is no excuse for blanket promises to either refuse (as with Obama) or confirm (for King Donny)any appointment for SCOTUS sight unseen. There's a reason there's a PROCESS. Its called Separation of Powers and intended to prevent dictatorships.

And there is every reason to reject Kavanaugh. Its a setup to protect Don the Con from facing the consequences he is so afraid of...

Utter complete horseshiite!

Trump is in no danger of being indicted for any crime. He's in no danger of being impeached.

Leftists only need open their mouths and the crap pours out.

BTV, Kavanaugh has a long list of decisions which are available for anyone to see. He's exactly what he said he is....his rulings follow the laws as written...and the constitution...as written. That pi$$es off the leftist lunatics among us. They despise the Constitution and think laws mean whatever they want them to mean...as opposed to meaning exactly what the laws say.

Leftists, really sleazy people. Imagine opposing someone because of their 1st name.

Looks like it's true. Trump has driven leftists insane...and it was a short drive!

Liberals attack Brett Kavanaugh for 'frat boy' name
Alex Pappas

The latest line of attack from liberals against Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court, is knocking the judge for his “frat boy”-sounding first name.

Leftist racism. Kavanaugh is too "white"!

News Orgs Echo Clinton Operatives: Brett Kavanaugh’s Too White
AARON KLEIN
13 Jul 2018

NEW YORK — Pundits and some news organizations on the left seem to be parroting the latest progressive talking point to oppose President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, focusing on Kavanaugh’s race to argue he is not a diverse pick for the nation’s top court....

That is a good point indeed, but racism is not more acceptable, some would say even less, when a dominant part of the population is racist against a minority, moreover one that has been enslaved and had different rights until the 50's or 60'´s, or no rights at all.

Being outraged about racism against white, and putting both discrimination on the same level is a flawed perception of historical facts IMO

Off your soapbox please.

Down through the course of history, it's hard to find a race which wasn't enslaved...including white folk.

There are no Americans who were born here..USA, who have ever experienced slavery.

As for racism, some of the most virulent racists in America are black.

The point of the article I posted was to take issue with leftist lunatics who claim to be morally pure and superior but when they let their masks slip, you find racists, pure and simple.

Oh, you don't need to wait to get your answer.

Good government consists of:

Adherence to the rule of law.
Adherence to Constitutional principles.
Adherence to America's republican form of government.
Efficient use of taxpayer's money.
Putting America and Americans FIRST.

President Trump is hitting all the high notes.

Joe Manchin to Chuck 'Shyster' Schumer:
Kiss my....Grits!

July 15, 2018
Manchin to Schumer on SCOTUS vote: 'Kiss my you know what'
Rick Moran

Despite blood curdling threats from Democrats that they'll "go to the mattresses" to keep Brett Kavanaugh from taking a seat on the Supreme Court, the truth is that they are far from united on the issue of opposing Trump's pick. In fact, it appears that, at least, two or three Democratic senators representing states won by Trump in the 2016 election, may bolt their party and vote for Kavanaugh anyway.

The Hill:

Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) had strong words for Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) efforts to unify the party against President Trump’s Supreme Court pick.

Manchin suggested to Politico that Schumer does not have any influence over whether or not he supports Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination.

“I’ll be 71 years old in August, you’re going to whip me? Kiss my you know what,” Manchin told Politico, referring to whipping votes among the party caucus.....

Like jwhop, McConnell seems to think the Dems exercising their right to vote NO on a SCOTUS nominee.. whom they couldn't block if they tried.. is OBSTRUCTION!!! 🙄🤪🤯 I wonder if this author is right, or if McConnell just thinks Thamerican Peeple are braindead?

Far from brain dead, the American people elected a Republican majority House in 2010,
elected a Republican majority Senate in 2014 and elected a Republican President...Trump, in 2016.

Republicans helped confirm Ginsburg, Kagan and Sotomayor..all, far left judges, to the Supreme Court.

demorats started complaining about Trump's nominee......before they even knew Trump picked kavanaugh.

The Senate confirmed Ginsburg 96-3
The Senate confirmed Kagan 63-37
The Senate confirmed Sotomayor 68-31

Most demorat Senators are most surely OBSTRUCTIONISTS, only 3 voted to confirm Neil M. Gorsuch.

Before President Trump leaves office...in 2025, he will have almost half of the Supreme Court nominated and confirmed, along with an army of Circuit Court and Appeals Court judges.

The republicans refused to even interview Obama's last nominee for the court. They insisted in seeing everything available on Kagan before considering her.

Now Kavanaugh's record is being largely withheld and his confirmation hearings rushed ahead. Nothing to see here folks.

But let's blame the Dems for obstruction anyway. People will swallow without noticing. For their own good.

What specious arguments.

Of course Senators wanted to see judicial rulings on Supreme Court Nominees. What the hell, Senators confirmed Kagan 63-37. No Obstructionist agenda at all.

Kavanaugh's judicial record and related documents are most certainly NOT being withheld from members of the Senate...including demorat Senators. More than a million documents have been turned over. The New York Slimes even investigated Kavanaugh's wife! Pure Obstructionism..which won't work.

Demorats have their own Minority Leader to blame for failure to consider The Marxist Messiah, Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court.

Chuck Schumer: Senate Should Block Supreme Court Nominees for 18 Months. Block any Supreme Court nominations for the last 18 months of President George W. Bush’s presidency."

That was the Golden Rule Schumer enunciated about confirming Supreme Court Nominees within 18 months of the end of a Presidential term of office. I sure hope Chuck 'The Schmuck' Schumer is happy republicans followed his advice on Obama's nominee Merritt Garland.

Oh! And was Schumer the Dem leader of the Senate then? Did the Dems actually try to pull such a stunt?

No in fact two justices were confirmed within a few weeks of nomination during GW's second term.

Yeah, Bush got 2 supreme court nominees confirmed...but none within a year of the end of his presidency.

Oh, and you forgot to mention the Bush nominee...Harriet Miers, who demorats trashed.

Chuck 'Shyster' Schumer was Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
