When the smoke clears, it will have been the largest voter turnout ever for a mid-term election.

Did you ever stop and think wanton waste of $$ on re elections might be a mid term factor??

Hard working people are rather sick of washingtons pillage and waste.

6 weeks and we will see

I remember when Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina tried to buy themselves positions in California. Remember King Midas🎻

If funding is the main criteria for winning, then GOP should comfortably retain the House and Senate in the mid terms. If Dems have to flip the House, they would need a lot of luck.

So far the Mueller Investigation has failed to conclusively prove Trump's links to Russian Crime Lord Semion Mogilevich using the Alfa Bank Server data. Had this been proved, 5% of Republican votes would have gone to Dems.
The documented tax crimes of Fred Trump will have no effect on polls.

GOP need not lose too much sleep now regarding Nov 6.

The Senate Battle I am keenly analyzing is Ted Cruz vs Beto. If Ted Cruz trounces Beto by more than 10%, then Trump should have no problem winning 2020. If Beto comes within 3% of Cruz, Trump will have a bigger battle in 2020 than 2016. If Beto beats Cruz, then it would be chaos leading up to 2020.

JWHop,
Politics is ultimately the art of the possible.

I have been getting reports that GOP is set to win by 15% margin on average, and as high as 25% in many districts. Early voting trends from informed sources are pointing to a GOP victory, that too comfortable one. Dems are not registering as sufficiently as they should, neither are independents. But GOP is having close to 100% enthusiasm to vote, especially in the 60+ age group.

If you see any early voting trend showing Democrats ahead, that would be the fakest of the fake news, probably put out by Team Trump social media experts to discourage independents from registering and voting. This tactic was used to defeat Hillary in 2016 as well with resounding success.

I am congratulating you in advance about your prediction of a GOP landslide victory in November 2018 midterms, though I would still pay close attention to Beto's performance with an eye on 2020 Presidential elections.

As a philosopher, I think 8 years of Trump Cult is better for America in the long run.
And if the shortcomings are too severe under 8 years of Trump, the Women, Youth and POC can create a better platform for a sustained rise of Non-GOP Politics in the decades to come after 2024.

For now, Dems are being ruthlessly punished for their own complacency and over-confidence.

Just think of the good all of that money could do, instead of going into adverts and pins, and whatever else they spend it on. Same goes for the Democrats. I've said that for years.

What about all of the purging of registered voters, in red States? A voter registration page suddenly going down, and staying down for the last two days available to register. Things like that.

Well, if you die, go to prison, move out of your voting district..without filing a new voter registration, or out of the state, you should expect to get "purged" from voting rolls.

Part of the way republicans protect elections from demorats who vote for the dead, vote in 2 voting districts or vote in person in one state and by absentee ballot in another state.

California, otherwise known as Mexico Del Norte, was caught registering illegal aliens to vote...knowingly!

I am not predicting a republican landslide in November.

I have the utmost faith that #NeverTrump republican airheads have time to screw it up.

Is Steve Bannon still registered in two states? A simple change of address form will notify the rolls that you are no longer where you were, in California. Then you must register at your new address by the
registration deadline to be able vote next time around. How do i know this? Just moved! Neither I nor anyone else can vote in my name in my old polling district.

What changed your mind?
Non-Liberal Opinion polls are pointing to an easy GOP win. NeverTrumpers are a miniscule minority. Do you think the economic gains did not reach all GOP voters? There is no reason for any GOP voter to be ****** off at Trump because they got all they wanted:
1. Tax Cuts
2. Neil Gorsuch & Brett Kavanaugh in SC
3. Exit from NAFTA
4. Trade Barriers and Tariffs against China
5. Virtual exit from WTO/United Nations
6. Very Harsh treatment of Illegal Immigrants
7. Destruction of Affordable Healthcare
8. Deregulation of each and every Environmental Norm/Regualtion

Only the Wall is missing but I think the Emotional Wall of putting kids in cages is more menacing than a physical Wall.

Even Beto is 10% behind Ted Cruz who went on his knees to beg Trump to help him out, after Trump insulted his dad by accusing him of a role in killing JFK.

And most importantly, where are the Democratic Registrations and fights against sudden disenfranchisement in Georgia [60000 Blacks rmeoved from rolls] and Indiana [400,000 removed]. Not even a whimper from Senate Dems or House Dems regarding disenfranchisement.

Good for you for doing it right.

But, why did you bother to register at all.

Your democrat choices are all Socialists...AND you keep telling us you're not a Socialist

On the other hand, republicans you could vote for support the Trump agenda..which you constantly rail against.

You have no one to vote for.

"What changed your mind?"

#NeverTrump morons in the House and Senate who had the opportunity to pass full funding for the border wall but didn't. If they had fully funded the Wall, this midterm election wouldn't even be close.

If you die, move out of your voting district or out of the state..or get convicted of a felony, expect to get purged from voter rolls.

Now, you tell me:
Why do democrats rail against removing those who are ineligible to vote because they've moved, died or are in prison?

Who I vote for is none of your business but as it happens i vote for individuals not parties. That's the main point of non affiliation isn't it? I'm not a socialist but then neither are most of my local candidates; i live in a very wealthy county with moderate republicans and Democrats usually on offer, in a State where most people vote Dem but don't really like extremes. Even so, .its often hard to find a candidate who just plain doesn't stink.. ad im sure you've experienced yourself.

Your idea of Socialist, by the way, is so broad you could sail the Queen Mary through it

The are maybe 2-3 moderate demorats in the entire Congress and none whatsoever in Kalifornia or...as rational people say,
Mexico Del Norte.

I rest my case🤣🤗 and spelling California funnily doesn't improve yours!

Ya, many people, especially Mexicans, consider California to still be Mexico. The vast majority of Mexican Americans here can cite family history going back before 1849. In fact many families predate the Spanish invasion.

"Ya, many people, especially Mexicans, consider California to still be Mexico."

If Mexico and Mexicans wanted Kalifornia so badly, they shouldn't have sold it to the United States...among other territory in 1848 for $15 Million under the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.
