One woman lying about rape is a crime. Noted

Worse are the rapists who RAPE. Check your FBI stats and see and digest how many are raped in the U.S. yearly.

Then compare how many women, in the same year, are imprisioned for lying about rape.

get it> Women are done being manhandled by the good old boys club & psychopaths.

One liar does not give anyone the right to use her against another victim.

👆👍 and how many rapists are not sentenced to prison? An act that seldom has witnesses in a culture that seeks to protect a man's reputation and calls being accused and questioned a "sacrifice"; where police stations often have a backlog of unused rape kits and where solutions such as "shouldve kept her legs closed" are seriously suggested..

For sure this is not a topic for crying wolf. But when actual rapists get probation... the gw women who do this are not to be blamed for the casual attitude of the judicial system and many individuals towards allegations

It's not just one. I have seen these stories for years. According to the FBI, from 2% to 8% are false claims, but 47% are found not to have enough evidence to investigate. That's over 50%!

Actually, I fully get your point. I am not using "one liar against another victim." I have not mentioned another victim anywhere on this thread. But just because it's not politically correct to mention the lives destroyed by false allegations doesn't mean they don't happen. And it's not rare. The truth still remains the truth whether you deny it and run and hide from it or not.

I've seen it happen and the man's life was seriously affected. The fact that that particular incident didn't happen doesn't change the fact that he a) was a serial statutory rapist (tho he persuaded the girls to consent and no one else accused him) and b) he eventually beat his later wife (3 yrs later) to a pulp -and ended up in prison...

The 14 yr old girl who accused this boy was looking for attention (to prevent her parents divorcing) and when she got it she retracted but he was already in the system. Thing is, most of what she'd said was true, except that he had forced her.

Im sure there are all shades of variation in rape cases and allegations. That NO WAY EXCUSES not taking every allegation seriously enough to hear and investigate.

This last is what you don't seem to get, Randall. People and journalists on both sides of this argument made up their minds before they knew anything. As did the President. And a SC justice should not be using political beliefs to excuse himself from questioning.

It seems possible he perjured himself, and very likely he will be judging from an AntiDem worldview that doesn't belong in the job

That wasn't questioning. It was a lynching. And Kavanaugh merely spoke the truth. It was a concerted effort by the left who even threw Ford under the bus for their highly politicized agenda.
