Like Acosta or not, in the dons White House, it is wonderful news to see the fifth Amendment is being upheld by a federal judge. Thank you don for appointing Judge Kelly! quote: federal judge has temporarily restored CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta's press pass, giving him access to all press areas of the West Wing. Judge Timothy J. Kelly, appointed by President Donald Trump, heard nearly two hours of oral arguments on Wednesday before granting CNN's request for a temporary restraining order to restore the pass, on Fifth Amendment grounds. Kelly said that the White House “must provide due process if they are to revoke Mr. Acosta’s hard pass” and that it was "likely untrue" that Acosta "laid hands" on a White House staff member, as Sarah Huckabee Sanders said he did during a heated press conference with Trump last Wednesday.

Give him due process and then kick him back out! But the 5th doesn't apply, as the SCOTUS will state IF President Trump pushes it.IP: Logged |

The president did not sound particularly confident in the suit, explaining that he thinks the White House should win but “We’ll see how the court rules.”Its not going to SCOTUS yet. I find it hilarious that Sanders and DT are insisting on decorum on the part of everyone who deals with DT.. but it is his lack of decorum that his base seem to love most If you are going to insist he is guilty of battery and that justifies his ousting, due process is certainly relevant IP: Logged |

If the don is smart, he will back down. Many saw the press interview as it unfolded. IF scotus ruled no fifth applies for Acosta, good honest Americans will hold the dons scotus appointments and the case against him in 2020. I feel extremely sorry for the young intern being caught up in the mess. She wants her job so will she lie or will she be honest and tell the truth?! Anyway, I saw the interview and Huckabee is off her rocker or needs bifocals. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

One of the more absurd rulings from a court I've seen.Acosta...and the rest of the press have no inherent right to even be in the White House. The have no Constitutional right and no statutory right. They're there based on a privilege or "sufferance" which can be withdrawn at any time. There's an important principle here that the Supreme Court should settle. Hopefully, President Trump will appeal all the way to the Supreme Court. IP: Logged |

"One of the more absurd rulings from a court I've seen." Be it as it may, the don appointed him so he`s getting what he paid for..... ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

So why have they made up this ridiculous battery story that everyone can see was no such thing? Afraid to say he's rude and DT doesn't like him, send someone else!It may technically be a courtesy but it would look like a cover up if the Prez didnt speak to the press like they do. Sure, the press would suffer for awhile but id be willing to bet the payback would be worse than answering some uncomfortable questions. Barring a total coup, the press are here to stay, unlike any individual politician IP: Logged |

Now the don is creating "special rules" of conduct so he can keep his don-ship , or lordship if you prefer, from being asked serious questions . Is to protect the fodder he spews? Maybe keep the law and order... or to be an example in upholding the gracious and kindness he showers on all equally?! ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

Those rules were already set. Like most other rules of law that Dems don't respect, President Trump won't put up with the temper tantrums and lawlessness of grown babies.IP: Logged |

The thing is, Acosta isn't asking serious questions. He's no less the clown Trump is. So maybe someone is thinking ahead. These two make for a good show. Theyre fabulous lightening rods for the opposing teams. Mind your ratings, friends! ... and isn't that what this is all about? The lengths those opposing teams will go to defend their champion says a lot. I can't think Trump legit wants him out, or proper procedure would have been followed. Easy enough. But why would he? You couldn't hope for a better performance.

It was custom and always has been. The federal judge merely told the WH to formalize the rules, which means to memorialize them (put them in writing). This is great, because President Trump can create hard and fast rules, and then he can kick out people who break those rules.IP: Logged |
