Bring that back to the 47 millions, he merely got 18 % of the electors' vote.

So you could consider it is imprssive with these number to have 23 % of approval, of the 67 million population overall.

Having said that he is not the dream for anyone. And being pro trump or pro le pen is not the only solution when one is not made to feel the dream by people like Macron or Clinton.

Not liking macron is not synonym to liking lepen, same in the US. If you think Clinton wasn't elected because Trump won, I think you should remeber that she wasn't elected because some of bernies voters didn't show up for her.

Whether or not the allegations are true, Allers herself admits there was actually nothing going on, she just felt creeped out.

But in 1984 Tyson had no fame and power to snow women with. He was no longer at UT and no corroborating evidence even puts him living in Austin at that time.

Im sure however he merits a place in the Accused Dems thread, tho so far there is no case against him.

Actually I should have added the government in the list of groups being concerned and partly redponsible.

All of them have their reason for it to escalate and degenerate.

That has nothing to do however with the motivation for MILLIONS (actually 80% of the population !!!) to organize themselves spontaneously, and sustainly for nearly a month, with gathering on street corners, peacefully slowing the traffic which drivers accepts willingly cause they widely support those who demonstrate.

Every saturday now, well the last three and tomorrow is expected terrible, yellow vest have let the hardened one show some "determination", including white nationalist and antifa who, unexpectedly joined their forces for the first time ever last saturday according to news who report police services.

Macron has no other way than give in. He will probably change his prime minister soon, but he must understand what is going on and dramatically acknowledge the difficult living conditions of ordinary people who cannot stabd anymore the dichotomy existing between an elite and the people. Period. Nothing else will do.

People are energised by the sight of such a democratic movement being able to last, while remaining popular despite the attempts of the ruling class (media included) to portray them as white nationalist, then as rioter who took over the random people.

Yet people are not bluffed and still determined. Mainly women who know the cost of living, single parents, retired people who got a new tax recently.. all are on the streets and if not, their yellow vest on the dashbord of their car.
And being a truck driver, I can tell you It is almost every car that has one, rare are the cars that don not have a yellow vest on the dashboard.
Being an unconventional, i do not have one, but I am totally with them, just don't like the sheep mentality.

Anyway, this popular "uprising" is too deep for politcal manouvering. People are awakening to their collective power. That needs to be taken into accont by our pretensious arrogant ex banker of president who lately replied to a retired woman complaining to him that she lived with 500€ a months that in France we should not complain of our living conditions.
