If you watch the news, you know the Dems are criticizing President Trump like they love Mattis. Bush invades Iraq, and he's a warmonger. Dems demand we pull out. Obama commits more acts of war than we can count, dropping 20,000 bombs, killing American citizens with drones, and funding terrorism through Iran--not a peep. President Trump pulls our troops, and Dems' heads explode, because it means that he kept another campaign promise.

Nothing wrong in pulling the troops out but the wrong troops were pulled out without safeguarding US Allies (Kurds). Trump could have foced NATO to send 1500 troops, and maintained a rolling reserve of 500 US Troops to protct the Kurds.

Also, pulling out Afghan Troops could have been done after creating a Buffer Force of Pakistani Troops to aid Afghan Army in thwarting the Taliban.

Anyway, time will tell about the efficacy of this troop pull out. On the whole, it helps Russia and China dominate the Middle East.

"Also, pulling out Afghan Troops could have been done after creating a Buffer Force of Pakistani Troops to aid Afghan Army in thwarting the Taliban."

Huh! What!

Are you so uninformed that you don't know Pakistan has been sheltering the Taliban all these years?

And you think it wise to have Pakistan team up with the Taliban against Afghanistan....because that's what would happen.

Another good reason Trump is President, (thank our lucky stars)...and you're not, Hillary The Corrupt is not, Joe Biden is not and other assorted leftist loons...are not.

What happened to the liberal cry of "Give peace a chance"? So, now the liberals say "Give war a chance"?

And what about the war on Christmas? Once again, President Trump was right. The media mocked Trump for saying that, and lo and behold, we see liberals attacking Christmas songs, movies, and even cartoons.

So in your mind criticizing trump means loving mattis? Ive seen nothing in that line .. only people who are worried about the way DT wants to do this, about leaving allies in the lurch with too sudden withdrawal, and empowering our enemies.

I agree with pulling out of any part of the ME but the way it's done matters too.

And i vaguely remember much squawking about Obama pulling troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq, partly for the same reason.

I don't know if objections are due to MI complex feeling undermined (all good imo) or the continued insistence on Abrupt Actions with no care for consequences...

President Trump promised to bring the troops home. He also promised to destroy ISIS. He had to keep us in Syria until he accomplished that. Presidents rarely keep campaign promises. This is just one of many made and kept. Thank you, President Trump!

ISIS destroyed? Questionable.

And while your preferred version of fake news may only be reporting on Dem critics re Mattis, this is not a partisan affair but a MI sponsorship issue..

Rolling Stones gather no moss. They just roll over the cliff.

The Caliphate has been destroyed. ISIS holds no territory..no thanks to your little leftist icon, The Marxist Messiah, Obama.

You could have googled. It's rare for only one site to have a story.
