I'm conservative enough to think guns are a right... intelligent enough to know deeper background checks and longer time to do them is a wise measure.
So big damn deal if it is an inconvenient wait for a gun holder... Wack nuts are running amok and it's time to take some control. ------------------

Those "whack nuts" acquired their guns legally...with background checks and were cleared to purchase.Extending the waiting period wouldn't have saved a single life. Demorats are livid that Republicans insisted on amending the demorat bill to include a provision requiring notification to ICE if an illegal alien failed a background check. Illegal aliens are not permitted to own firearms, by law. That doesn't seem to matter to demorat members of congress. This was a "show" bill. Trump would not sign the legislation if it passed both houses and they know it. IP: Logged |
