If my dad told the World that his very much Indian born father was born in a beautiful Oasis near Arabia, I would take him to a nice suburban nursing home. I would not be comfortable if he had the keys to a chemical lab leave along Nuclear Codes.

Saying Oranges instead of Origins is just a gaffe, just like how Trump struggled to say the word Anonymous. But to continuously forget where his own dad was born is a pretty dangerous sign of memory loss.

What do others think? Is this un-ravelling or mental deterioration just a deliberate distraction tactic ?

There was huge winning for Trump just last week thanks to Barr preventing any indictment for Obstruction, and so far successfully striving to hide 400 pages of Mueller's report which should have been made public as it "Exonerated" Trump totally as per his own admission.

Then why this public display of mental deterioration?

What are we missing? Is an Insanity Plea in the offing? Is this to make Democrat opponents overconfident?

German Americans are proud people. I'm not making excuses for his lies... But my great-grandfather was born in Germany, and I tell people all the time that I'm German. Everyone in my family does. It's a source of pride and identity. And it's not a lie. We're Americans of German descent.

Again, I'm not making excuses for him. But there are so many other things about his actions that are worrisome. This little white lie is not one of them.
