fact is life gets you killed, and making things illegal doesn't make things unavailable

if i wanted an illegal gun i could go get one, easy along with a **** ton of other illegal things because that's the way **** works

illegal things aren't hard to get you just need money for them

as long as guns exist you can get shot

as long as cars exist you can get into a car accident

there's all manner of ****** up things that can happen to someone, you can't eradicate that

again the root of these mass shootings is societal and due to a lot unrest, if there's an increase (which is likely i think personally) it still wouldn't be the fault of guns

that's why i said in the other thread half these guys just need to get laid and it'd cut down on some of the issues and isolation that lead to this **** though

Right. Either Warren and Trump are both responsible or neither are reaponsible. Only the dishonest will accuse one but not the other.

I wont outright dismiss the getting laid theory - history and plain common sense support it. But is it perhaps more than this? Purpose, social cohesion, some measure of traditional spirituality/religious practice, family centered communities, etc ...

Nihilism and consumerism aren't working. Can we acknowledge this? Further, can we admit that both the "right" and the "left" have brought us here?
