Hang On, with majority Senate, there is no way Trump can be impeached.Dems are playing a calculated political game to ensure there is enough controversy firepower to win in 2020. They still have not got their "main course", the Trump Tax Returns which have the links to Russian Mobsters whose cash Trump laundered for decades.

No, it's not the law. A 'letter conveying a subpoena' is not a subpoena. It's a 'request' conferring no obligation on it's recipient. If leftist lunatic demorats in the House want to contest that viewpoint, they can sue the administration in court...where they will lose. The demorat morons are too cute by half. All they have to do is hold a vote for an impeachment inquiry before the full House. Then, (if it passes) their subpoenas would have legal authority. Until that time, it's UP THEIRS time. "Absent judicial authority, all of these “subpoenas” are simply “letters”. That is why this latest round of letters (they are calling subpoenas) do not carry a penalty for non-compliance. The demands cannot carry a penalty because the demands do not contain judicial authority…. because the investigation was not authorized by the chamber.
