Pulled this from another thread:

I agree with your basic premise. However those republicans tied to globalists who want cheap labor are being weeded out of office. Many have decided to retire, some this year and some in 2018. Further, Trump has weeded some from his administration. Tillerson and Cohn come to mind and there are others as well.

GOP answer to corps, not the American people. They dont have a choice but to support immigration.

Over 20 repub reps supporting this bill. Even Fox couldn't slam it. Let's watch and see what happens.

Something else to watch. Something which, unlike the impeachment hearing, will actually amount to something.
http://www.usnews.com/news/world/articles/2019-12-18/us-citizenship-path-for-thousands-of-liberians-tucked-in-spending-bill

"In an interview with Reuters on Tuesday, Smith said the provision also had support from Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch, a Republican from Idaho."

Surprised? You shouldn't be. All Demos and most Repubs, including the President, support large scale immigration.

"Trump unexpectedly postponed a winding down of DED protections for Liberians earlier this year, pushing back the end date until March 2020."

Unexpectedly. Lol

Of course they have a choice.
Btw, I told President Trump to veto this bill if it gets through the Senate.

What do you mean by 'large scale immigration'?

Thats nice that you told him to veto, Jwhop. It means nothing but it's nice.

What do I mean? I mean the mass immigration that is costing your party votes and seats.

Immigration is primarily an executive branch function. I rendered my opinion to the President to veto that bill.
