This is a game changer, THE major development that has the potential to splinter the Trumb evangelical base:
https://www.mercurynews.com/2019/12/19/billy-grahams-magazine-calls-for-trumps-ouster//

Billy Graham's magazine, Christianity Today, calls for Trump to be removed.

Not an influential publication at all. Most Christians don't read it, wouldn't read it and don't much care what Galli thinks.

The reason most Christians don't care what Galli thinks is because Galli is a member of the Anglican Church which is a member of the World Council of Churches, heavily infiltrated by Marxist Communist Socialists at the top and considered to be radical and extremist.

The Graham family hasn't been associated with this publication for many years but if they were, Galli wouldn't be working there.

Evangelical Trump supporters bash Christianity Today for calling for removal from office
Alicia Cohn
12/20/19

Two prominent evangelical leaders are slamming the flagship evangelical magazine "Christianity Today" after it called for President Trump

to be removed from office in an editorial.

"Less than 20% of evangelicals supported @HillaryClinton in 2016 but now @CTmagazine has removed any doubt that they are part of the same 17% or so of liberal evangelicals who have preached social gospel for decades! CT unmasked!" wrote Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of evangelical Liberty University....

....."It’s obvious that Christianity Today has moved to the left and is representing the elitist liberal wing of evangelicalism," wrote Franklin Graham, CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, an evangelical relief organization. Graham accused the magazine of being "used by the left for their political agenda."

My Response to Christianity Today:

Christianity Today released an editorial stating that President Trump should be removed from office—and they invoked my father’s name (I suppose to try to bring legitimacy to their statements), so I feel it is important for me to respond. Yes, my father Billy Graham founded Christianity Today; but no, he would not agree with their opinion piece. In fact, he would be very disappointed. I have not previously shared who my father voted for in the past election, but because of this article, I feel it is necessary to share it now. My father knew Donald Trump, he believed in Donald Trump, and he voted for Donald Trump. He believed that Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.

Many of the evangelicals I spoke with say that while they approve of Trump's stand on reproductive rights and religious freedom for Christians, they cannot stand his personality, his character, and are quite embarassed by his antics. He is making very difficult for them to continue defend him.

The inflential Pat Robertson has already said over the Trump betrayal of the Kurds that Trump was in "danger of losing the mandate from heaven."

People like that might not be so enthusiastic to come out and vote next presidential election. They might just sit this one out.

And just because you declare something to be true, it doesn’t mean that it is.

a) I meant everything on this board, or in the world, that you declare to be true.

b) his son doesn’t know how billy Graham would feel today.

Dulis: Christianity Today Editor Champions Theologian Who Excused Stalin's Mass Murder
Ezra Dulis
20 Dec 2019

Millions of American Christians learned that they are, in fact, disloyal to God and to the Ten Commandments because of President Donald Trump, thanks to Thursday's blockbuster op-ed from Christianity Today and its editor-in-chief Mark Galli...........

I'm sure Billy Graham's son knows far more about what his father would think than you and your liberal friends do--who, by the way, routinely mock Christianity, but now they are defending a Christian publication. The Dems have lost their collective minds due to hatred of President Trump, i.e., Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Trump pretending to be in any way religious, is a mockery of Christianity, and all of you who believe him.

Seriously?

Not only was that not true, there is nothing wrong with being a Muslim. I have more to say, but I’m on my phone, and hate auto-correct.

I have to agree with you.

There is nothing religious or Christian about Trump.

I think his supporters know it, but since Trump has supported the causes dear to Christians (anti-abortion, religious freedom), they consider these more important than anything else that he does..

Unfortunatelyl, the Democrats are so out of touch that they do not know how to talk to evangelicals and how to respect their opinions. The democrats do not understand that you cannot force certain social agenda on people and bypass their religious beliefs. So a loss vote for Trump does not necessarily translate into an added vote for the Democrats.

Nope. If you are able to catch the very-first slip, he was actually quoting-back words someone else said of him.. Quoting them saying that he was Muslim. Even the interviewer knew that he (and Michelle) were bornagain Christians, and led community-building activities for the mega-church they belonged to.

Hope I'm remembering that correctly.
I'm pretty sure.

Like people said of him that he was born in Kenya.
No. His Mother was an American, and Barack was born in State of Hawaii, ?where his mother's family lived. While Barack was President, he would visit family in Hawaii.

I never said there was anything wrong with being Muslim, did I, teasel? I was referencing your comment about President Trump not being very religious or Christian. Obama's father was Muslim. He wore a ring with a Muslim inscription. He paid Iran $150 billion in the middle of the night in an unmarked plane. He also sent the Palestinians $221 million during his last hours in office. He was not a friend to Israel. If he were a Christian, I’d say he was not a very good one.

I'm not saying Obama was born in Kenya. But Obama said he was born in Kenya...on his college applications.

Randall, I very much doubt that Obama would have lied and said he was 'born' in Kenya on his college applications..

It's probably rumor-based info, spread by folks who have maliciously hated him from even-before he was elected President.
