14 Apr 2020True The Vote (TTV), a grassroots organization supporting election integrity, on Tuesday stopped leftist efforts to force New Mexico to shift to a mail-in election system in the state’s upcoming June primary. What leftist county clerks and the Secretary of State were trying to accomplish in New Mexico was to get the state’s Supreme Court to assert control over how the state would handle elections rather than the legislature, where elected state lawmakers normally set procedure for how elections are conducted.
The leftist petitioners argued that the coronavirus crisis would provide the state courts cover to do so. You're not supposed to vote by mail...unless you are out of state. Then you file an absentee ballot.You're supposed to vote in person, in the right precinct, with your voter identification. Democrats are drooling over the opportunity for voter fraud...with unchecked and uncheckable mail in ballots, vote harvesting, double, triple and quadruple voting, illegal alien voting and the dead voting. The court didnt "slap" it down
It simply sent it to the right jurisdiction. I agree mail in votes shouldn't be generally allowed. I have a mail in for the local issues. Thats fine because with 180 voters, cheating wouldn't pass the smell test..  ------------------
