I am feeling kind slow and dumb because I don't understand the graph picture shown in the article.

How can you have more cases of Covid-19 (100,217) than residents testing positive of Covid (98,047)? Can anyone please explain?

Does anyone know the statistics on the percent of our population that has been lost since this began? I am curious if it has been compared between other nations as populated as ours.
Is most of this exaggerated or are the figures truly worrisome? I ask because there were some falsified hospital docs some had revealed earlier during the spring. Anyone else just wish we could awaken from the nightmare?

Natural Hermit here, but even these current life standards are beyond what I might ever had imagined our modern world to have forced upon them.

critics of the measures has pointed that out. that data should be given in context. saying number of cases without explaining what that means, or without comparing with other respiratory infections or even with annual influenza is misleading. but that is the intention of the fearmongering, confusion! so nobody understand what is going on. from coding all patients with flue-like symptoms as Covid-19 even without testing to registering cause of death as covid-19 for people with serious conditions who were going to day with or without covid...

On the other hand, even in the event that these nightmare were not a scam, still people need to decide if they want to stop living because they are afraid to die. if the gravity is true, still there is no point in hiding at home for ever. and for those willing to get vaccinate, good luck!

The same Entities we were warned about in Nag Hammadi Text and bby Carlos Castaneda, the "Archons" who instigate World Wars and Tyranny etc. They play both sides, and want to maximize suffering, as that is their "food". Either trick more into getting infected or trick through Panic to take dangerous vaccines.

How are the cases in Florida now? Any update?
MSM like CNN say 44000 today in USA with 7000 in Texas and 12000+ in Florida, and 22% of all those tested in Miami having COVID-19.

If death rate falls below 1%, then FLorida should get herd immunity by October.

A bit off topic, but I feel the need to share my opinion.

I find it quite bothersome when the conversation strays into
Right/Conservative/Republican=Uneducated
and Left/Liberal/Democrat=Educated

This is such a silly thing to inject when making an argument, especially when the majority of both "sides" are losing confidence in higher education in general.
If you were to research right now what percentage of Democrats/Republicans have a college degree you will see that currently Democrats are more likely in that category. But that is just a number.
The same goes for the fact that in the past, the majority of non college educated voters belonged to the Democratic party, and educated voters were Republican. There is much more to be learned than a percentage in this research. There are many questions as to why and what the circumstances were and are. This does nothing for your argument.

To those who are saying right wingers are calling Covid a hoax....have you actually took the time to have a civilized conversation with them to understand where they are coming from? Because if you did, as I have, you would see that many of them don't even think this. They know that the virus is real. They believe that the virus has been over hyped, and isn't as dangerous as first believed. They have a reason to think this too. Many of the people that I have talked to have done extensive digging into the information on this virus, and there are MANY things that do not add up. They're also ARE wearing masks by the way.

Yes there are exceptions to this, and those are the people you are most likely to see on Tik Tok or possibly the news. There are people who don't think covid is nearly as bad as the flu and they have reasons/facts to back that up. They're not just crazy nuts running around trying to get people sick and whine about hair cuts, if you think that is what is happening, open your eyes and ears and test your unconscious bias.

I'm talking about all of the comments on twitter and facebook, and I know where the hoax crap comes from - as well as the "I'm an American! I'm not scared of a virus!" attitude, because they make it clear that they don't care. I've just seen that a man asked people to take it seriously (another one), he developed symptoms quickly, and died the next day.

We know what happened in other countries - until lockdown - we know what happened here, and it also eased up because of lockdown. It makes sense to just be cautious, and to think of others, not only ourselves.

An increase in testing reflects an increase in infection. As we reach herd immunity, there will be an increase in infection among the under 30 population, which is exactly what is happening. All that lockdowns do is delay the inevitable, if they have any effect at all.
