I guess my head was in the sands all those years.

It's only a few weeks ago that I did my own experiment. I googled the Top 50 most violent cities in the US, found a very reliable list with crime stats from the FBI or some other reliable agency. Then when I check each city's party affiliation, and I found that the vast majority were run by democrats. That was a secret hiding in plain sight!
