There was a time when I argued against the slippery slope theory. Now I am just wondering which will be legalized first, pedophilia or bestiality. Thinking prob the former.

Consenting adults are involved. There is no slippery slope. This kind of relationship isn't for me, but I have a friend who lives with her husband and another woman. I can't say what's best for them. Another friend was poly, and now she's married to one man, monogamous. IP: Logged |

It is.The psychiatric community now largely acknowledges that pedophilia is an inborn sexual attraction, just like homosexuality and heterosexuality. ie You're born that way.
Meanwhile, the growing acknowledgment that children are sexual beings capable of giving or withholding consent.
Meanwhile, modern sex based social justice movements advocating for individual agency free from often arbitrary and religious based taboos and dogma. Anyone can see where this is going. IP: Logged |

Are you saying that polyamory is becoming acceptable and that pedophilia will follow? Polyamory is between consenting adults. Pedophilia obviously is not. You seem to be conflating them.

Ohhh, the news is testing me. I intended to be away for a few months, but I’ve just found out that a mom’s for liberty person, married to a gop politician in Florida, has been in a three-person relationship. Either quit lying or educate yourself. No one is trying to get books banned. Not a single book has been banned in Florida. Parents just don't want third graders reading books with explicit sex in them. It's not age appropriate. But groomers certainly want those books available. IP: Logged |
