It did that.

During the DNC Convention, President Trump's poll approval numbers went up 4 points from 47% to 51%. Trump's approval number on August 19, 47%. On August 20 and August 21, 51%. Good job democrats!

That is what I suspected.

Granted I have not listened to 80% of the speeches, but from what I heard, the violence and mayhem in the streets were never mentioned.

I think is a tactical mistake of the democrats. Because Trump at the Republican convention will NOT fail to mention these things.

That's all well and good and I think it it's a worthy endeavor. Too bad he didn't say how we could do it. Because the way I have seen people for the past decades trying to get rid of racial discrimination is by instituting other types of racial discriminations. How is that going to get rid of racism?

President Donald Trump on Friday responded to former Vice President Joe Biden’s convention speech declaring that America was in a period of darkness.

“Last week the Democrats held the darkest, angriest and gloomiest convention in American history,” Trump said. “They spent four straight days attacking America as racist and a horrible country that must be redeemed.”

The president made his remarks at a speech for the 2020 Council for National Policy Meeting on Friday afternoon.

Trump recalled the booming success of his administration prior to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Joe Biden grimly declared a season of American darkness, and yet look at what we’ve accomplished,” Trump said.

Trump praised heroic first responders, nurses, doctors, and the swift deployment of American industry to ramp up the production of protective equipment and develop vaccines ahead of schedule.

They don't call Joe Biden 'China Joe' for no reason. China bought Joe Biden for a $1.5 billion Chinese investment into BHR in which Hunter Biden's investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners in a equity partner.

Oh, but Hunter Biden vouched for China Joe's character at the DNC Convention.

It doesn't matter where it originated, what matters is how it was handled here. It's an election for this country, not China. Mr "it will just disappear" doesn't give a crap, and didn't mind if people died in Democratically led cities and states - he thought he could use that against the Democrats running them. That's sick. He only thinks about poll numbers, and people voting for him. I read that he wants the right to block his critics on twitter - that means that their responses probably wouldn't be seen under his tweets, and his followers would only see what he wants them to see - apparently. Since he uses it for official announcements at times, he can't block anyone.

I doubt it.
