Better late than never..BUT..lawsuits should have been filed on the first day Whitless made her unconstitutional decree(s).

I can't imagine the majority republican state legislature sat on their hands hoping they could reason with the unreasonable Whitless...but it looks like that's what happened.

That's the reason the Michigan State Legislature should have protected their constitutional authority to make the laws by filing an immediate lawsuit.
