The CDC study, which surveyed symptomatic COVID-19 patients, has found that 70.6% of respondents reported “always” wearing a mask, while an additional 14.4% say they “often” wear a mask. That means a whopping 85% of infected COVID-19 patients reported habitual mask wearing. Only 3.9% of those infected said they “never” wear a face covering.

The study offers insight into the reality that tens of thousands of Americans are acquiring COVID-19 on a daily basis despite overwhelming adherence to mask wearing. Masks simply aren’t working to “slow the spread” or “stop the spread.” The study also dismisses “public health experts’” claims from individuals such as Dr. Anthony Fauci and others that Americans are not following the guidance being disseminated by the CDC and other disease control agencies.

Americans are following the CDC guidance. It’s just not working.

As you can see in the screenshot below, the symptomatic group (left) mirrors the control group (right). The study fails to provide any evidence that COVID-19 infection protection is associated with mask wearing. In fact, given the lack of separation between the symptomatic group and the control group, it provides evidence that masks do absolutely nothing to stop the spread of COVID-19..........

I don't want to get sick is the reason I don't wear one.

I definitely won't take a vaccine unless forced.

Now, scientists have compiled the statistics which show that wearing a mask makes you far more likely to catch covid-19.

Less than 4% of those infected NEVER wore a mask.

Up to 85% of those who ALWAYS wore a mask or OFTEN wore a mask got infected with covid-19.

When people wear masks and they have to speak, they usually speak more loudly and more FORCEFULLY in order to be understood, so the microparticles of Covid have more opportunity to make it through these cloth masks.

And let us not forget that most mask wearers will touch their masks many times to readjust it and will not desinfect their hands afterwards, and will not wash the mask after each use.

But again, using tag lines like ‘statistically’ without evidence reduces your credibility.You know this.

I get the impression that you Guys think face masks are the route of all evil when there’s no evidence to prove this, and that’s sad; there are bigger fish to fry than this. Face masks are certainly not the cure either, there are limitations. But they have a place when used correctly. Which the essence of the study that pertains to the OP demonstrates this very well, coincidentally.

Nor, did I realize wizards made such sweeping pronouncements with no credible backup.

It was all a scare tactic scam by the left to shut down the economy.

It's like a cold.

They tried to lump other deaths in with the virus which is the medical scam portion.

Never believe medical doctors that depend on government funding.

Although the doctors could be the ones that exposed the scam.
