My home state has not voted GOP in a presidential election since Reagan's 2nd term (voted Carter 1st term). An ageing white pop, they are old school "moderate" liberals, and apart from the increasingly diverse capital city, oblivious to the new Left's shenanigans. As a rule, my town doesn't even offer a repub mayoral candidate. Most towns here do not. Biden was a shoe-in.Past few days local media has been running stories on an apparent flood of inquiries from early voters about changing their vote. interesting IP: Logged |

Maybe they voted third-party, and want to vote Biden instead. Just to make sure.IP: Logged |

No. Again, these are moderate, centrist type Demos. Not Cali types. The last 3rd party candidate to win anything near a significant number of votes was Perot. And even he didn't crack 50,000. I think Johnson got about 10,000 in 16'.IP: Logged |

Further, per last report, only one town has more Trump donors than Biden donors. *One* town in the entire state. It is solidly left leaning here.

This happened after the second debate. I'd bet it's when Joe Biden said he would put an end to the oil industry and contrary to what he said prior, would not end fracking.

Oil industry is a non issue in New England. Tell them oil *prices* will rise (its snowing today), then yes that's an issue. But asking people to to put 2 and 2 together is 2 much. IP: Logged |
