After the church attack in Nice, some young muslim men are protecting the Lodeve Cathetral for the AllSaint's holiday mass:

After the killing of 3 congregants at the Nice basilics, some young muslims from Lodeve wanted to show their support to Christians. They came out to protect the Lodeve Cathedral during the mass, and this gesture really moved the town residents.

https://france3-r egions.francetvinfo.fr/occitanie/herault/lodeve/lodeve-jeunes-musulmans-assurent-symboliquement-securite-cathedrale-ce-dimanche-1890114.html

In my humble opinion, this type of gesture does a lot to enhance the image and prestige of Islam, to show that it is not a religion ruled by extremists, and to counter islamophobia. It also sends a message to extremists that their actions will not be automatically tolerated, excused, or sanctioned within the islamic community.

It means much. Thank-you.

Generally, as long as Muslims don't try to enforce Sharia law here, I'm OK with them.

I was very pleased to see this.

As with so many others, there is a ever widening rift within the Muslim community. Many of the Islamic study and social groups I follow have recently exhibited an upturn in what some might call extremists views. In this case sympathizing with and rationalizing the beheadings. But there is also an renewed desire to quell the extremism and better assimilate into Western nations.

The Salafist/Wahhabi Groups love Radcalization, and groom the worst to become violent terrorists. 90% plus of Muslims are now against this fake Islamic Ideology that was largely an offshoot in the 1950s from Egypt but later built up by CIA/MI6 in what they thought was a justified Campaign against USSR in 1980s.
The leftover "Mujahidden" went to form a dozen different Terror Cells, with the most evil of evils turning into ISIL.

Thanks to efforts of Moderate Muslims, more and more youth are de-programming. they need all our encouragement to root out the evil.

A lot of people don't know this, but in India, when young, attractive American and Euro women go there to visit and if they don't have a male companion with them, they are most often accosted in the non Muslim areas of India. Often groped, constantly badgered, swarms of men around them, etc.

But in the Muslim areas of India because of the laws and customs, this doesn't tend to happen to them, or not near as much or badly.

There are good and bad points about every religion, culture, peoples, etc. When you have traveled around the world like I have, ultimately you see that people are more similar than different in most core and important respects.

Very true. I too am from a Muslim Family, and from childhood till old age, the first thought that we are conditioned to have is "Accountability" to God before we act.
Just imagine if we keep Christ's Teaching of Treating others like how we wish to be treated along with Islamic Accountability to God and Vedic/Buddhist Law of Karma, there would never be any strife on Earth.

Well said iQ. Doesn't seem that way now, but this is the direction that things will be moving in. Even 10 years after the coming global collapse, humanity will be rather different than now.

The problem is, and ever has been, the psychopaths amongst us. These have a knack for getting into positions of power and wealth, and making it bad for the rest of us. History is one long repeating cycle of class war of the Have Mosts controlling, manipulating, deceiving, and making problems for the Have's Less and Leasts.

In the nearish future, humanity's psychic senses will become much more awakened collectively, and more and more people will be able to see into and through these types.
