The study was of nearly ten million residents of Wuhan after the lockdown. If we can trust the data, masks are worthless. It used traced close contacts. I'll look for a link later. Fauci said in January that asymptomatic carriers don't drive a pandemic, so this is not an unexpected finding. IP: Logged |

I would be interested to see the study Randall as that's an impressive sample size! Here is a smaller study done on a contact tracing chain of events where transmission was said to have taken place rapidly in asymptomatic young people: quote: Conclusions SARS-CoV-2-infection presented strong infectivity during the incubation-period with rapid transmission in this cluster of youngsters outside Wuhan. COVID-19 developed in these youngsters had fast onset and various nonspecific atypical manifestations, and were much milder than in older patients as previously reported.

I'm still a little wary of it, being that it's from China. The head of the CDC now says that asymptomatic carriers are a problem. This is the same guy who said he is more protected from wearing a mask than taking a vaccine, at a time when the official CDC stance was that masks only protect others and not the wearers. What a hack! At least he confirmed that schools from K to 12 are safe, because in confirmed cases, both teachers and students had contracted the virus from outside the school with no intra-school transmission. Just had a look at the study. I can't see any glaring problems with it other than their use of the PCR test (which is a potential problem with all studies at the moment) and that they carried this study out after a lockdown, which is strange. Why would you carry out a study on contact transmission when people haven't been in contact with each other This is a heroic study though in terms of its scope and the short space of time that they apparently carried it out. The sample is practically the whole population of Wuhan. IP: Logged |

Yeah, that's a bit inconsistent. Unfortunately schools here have been reporting in-school transmission for a month or so, although it occurred at the same time as an increase in community transmission, so it was downplayed. Last I checked just under 10% of school pupils were isolating as they had been identified as a close contact of a pupil who had tested positive. My son was one of them, he just returned to school last week. IP: Logged |

In most places, lock down doesn’t mean you never go anywhere. China may have been the closest thing to it, though. IP: Logged |

In one of fauci's many contradictory statements chefs air asymptomatic transmission may not be pushing the"pandemic". With more science being thrown out the window, before this hoax positive antibody tests meant you had had the virtue/microganism.now a ddenly a positive is a sign you are asymptotic. This goes along ng with using this PCR as a test, when it is test nothing associated with the virus.it creates large samples of whatever nucleotide the research thinks is being created by the virus.the corona has not her been found in the victims lungs.CDC admits it could not infect human cells with the supposedly corona RNA they found in the lungs.don't forget the Chinese said it was corona virus and no American researcher has been able to substantiate the Chinese guess.IP: Logged |
