Health care? Apparently not.Stable housing? Apparently not. A $15 minimum wage? Apparently not. Economic justice? Apparently not. Paternity/maternity benefits? apparently not. Four weeks vacation? Apparently not. Increasing the quality of life for poor and middle class Americans? Apparently not.
Trumpers only care about three things:

Hmmm, well he did make one right after poking fun at conservatives/right wingers: http://youtu.be/4l1UPmrRyI4 He's more of an equal opportunity teaser. His channel got started poking fun of new agey spiritual stereotypes and the like, but he also made fun of some conservative/right wing stereotypes, before he started getting more critical of the left and more political in general. He has stated in more serious videos that a lot of his inspiration comes from his own life/self and having been in periods of taking spirituality too seriously. He is friends with Brent Pella, another comedian. I listened to a long, sincere podcast chat between them, and Brent identifies as "left/progressive". I suspect that JP spent much of his life identifying with same as well, and now doesn't buy into the binary, b.s. system that some, on both the left and right, so dearly cling to as if their life depended on it. I shared a video earlier that he supports things like the BLM movement--not necessarily the organization, but the general movement. But don't let facts, holistic logic, etc get in the way of prejudice, belief, and intolerance. Let's get back into our binary boxes of left VS right, no holds barred, to the death. IP: Logged |
