Sadly, this is 100% on the GOP.
Blaming Democrats who have atleast stepped into help [AOC, Beto etc] is not going to cut ice, pun intended.

GOP under Trump Celebrated De-Regulation as a Panacea for all ills, whereas European Models for decades have Mathematically Proven that Basic Utilities (Power, Water, Highways, Bridges), Healthcare and Education should be Fundamental Human Rights in the hands of Democratic Government Institutions.

Today, ordinary Texans are losing their life savings with Mafia Extortion Utilities Bills of 10s of 1000s of dollars, after they have lost a huge sum on home devastation from ice, water pipe bursts etc.

Even the most vile and hated Ted Cruz spoke up against this extortion, while not realizing that it is all because of
De-Regulation Arrogance.

Texas had 10 years to fix things, but the GOP did nothing but isolate while private companies looted and looted.

The only way out now is to re-connect to the US Grid. And improve the power lines.
And kill that Useless Texan Arrogance/Ego before it destroys millions of more lives in the years to come.

One Natural Disaster is enough to show the Arrogant their place in the Dustbin of History. These Storms are now going to be an annual feature.

This must never happen again to any State in the USA.

Two cousins of mine and their families struggled but recovered as power came after 48 hours but many friends of my classmates there seem to have lost everything. And they were seemingly well off. Imagine the plight of the lower middle class and poor?
