Theres some sort of morality tale here but I cant quite put my finger on it

Anyway contrast this story with the Vegas boy who was failed because he wouldnt cop to being an oppressor.

The school teachers and administration ain't ish, that's for sure, a bunch of bureaucratic fraudsters preying on the poor, but I think the mom bears some blame too. She never noticed in all 4 years that her son passed only 3 classes? Doesn't she look at his report cards?
